Snoke promised to give Kylo Ren the General at the completion of his training. It neatly removes Hux as a threat once his usefulness has run out, and placates Kylo. Now, at the end of the war, seems a good time to pay due on that promise.

It's okay if you want it to eventually end up in a ~better place or whatever. But I'm definitely here for the intial horror and dread, knowing he is essentially helpless and has no recourse or hope of rescue. Being left at Ren's mercy and subjected to his whims of loathing/affection probably isn't a pleasant experience.

after the events on starkiller base, kylo develops an obsession centering around both rey and finn. rey is the girl that defeated him, and finn is the first stormtrooper to break the order's conditioning, and they share such a strong bond. he's jealous and weirdly attracted to them both and he really wants in on it.

somehow, he ends up capturing them both at the same time. rey and finn can't fight back (maybe a force inhibiting collar, maybe he's made it clear that he will kill finn if they don't cooperate?) in the end, he makes them fuck and watches on, touching himself and making threats whenever they aren't into it as much as he'd like. kylo wants them to put on a good show for him. up to you whether or not he has a weird chastity vow that makes him keep it to the voyeurism or if he forces them to let him join in afterwards.

Over the course of events in a mutual clusterfuck of a confrontation, Finn and Hux both get caught by a third party. In sweep Kylo and Rey, attacking each other and the captors to rescue their respective people.

+Hux is grudgingly proud because yeah, Finn was definitely the cream of the crop, would have been the best, Phasma still talks about him. Finn is a little flattered (really flattered whoops, it's a hard habit to break when an officer is complimenting you) and is surprised how handy Hux is with a blaster/improvising

+ dragging their respective force user to safety once they're free. Kylo and Rey unitentionally thwarted their chances at mutual betrayal. (Hux is again distantly proud. Finn would have been such an asset, look at those cold intentions to dump us right at the feet of the enemy, such ruthlessness, such determination, Kylo, are you even paying attention? stop bleeding on me and listen--)

Aw yeah, seconded! A pragmatic Finn & Hux self-rescuing team-up is everything I didn't know I wanted.

lmao them listening to the chaotic sounds of their 'rescuers' having yet another dramatic and emotional confrontation on the unstable catwalks above where they're being held. Finn sighing, like, "look, they're gonna be a while, we should just untie ourselves."

When in TFA Rey fought the guys trying to get bb-8, it wasn't the first time she was ambushed like this.

Kylo has never slept with anyone before Hux and given his history is pretty naïve about how healthy relationships are supposed to function. Hux takes advantage of this. Kylo/Hux, Hux ""helps"" with Kylo's training

Snoke decides the next step in Kylo's mastery of the Force is learning self-discipline and restraint. This is a steep task indeed, and he enlists Hux's aid.

Snoke fits Kylo with a shock collar, under strict orders to not remove it until he has been given permission, and gives Hux the remote control. Hux has never been happier in his life.

+ "Testing" if it works many, many times throughout the first day/night (One more time! Gotta be sure!)
+ Hux is definitely getting an enorphin rush every time he hits it
+ Kylo still trying to argue while he's being zapped, Hux standing over him mashing the button

The First Order, like any army, probably has numerous accounts of Officers abusing their power to take advantage of lower ranking soldiers.

Finn and Poe are just testing the waters of a new relationship when the question of Finn's sexual experience comes up. Finn tells Poe about the only other "partner" he had, a higher ranking officer who would make Finn visit him in his quarters almost every day under the guise of "excellerated training."

Finn never liked it, and knew in his heart that it was wrong, but could never really do anything but bare it because the person was a higher up.

Cue lots of comfort and reassurance from Poe and anyone else you want, but especially Poe.

How Finn's story ends is up to you, does the Officer get caught or reprimanded, or does it go completely unnoticed or even encouraged in the Order? Are they still alive, or were they killed on the field before Finn escaped. How long did it go on for?

I only ask that Phasma is not the rapist, thank you.

tl:dr Finn was sexually abused in the First Order by a higher ranking Officer and he tells Poe about it in the beginning of their relationship.

I dreamt this last night and keep thinking it would make a soul-destroying short fic. Hopefully someone agrees!

The First Order is about to fall. The heroes are winning. The base/ship/deathstar 3.0 is about to blow up.

Kylo is injured, but still fights his way through enemies trying to get to Hux so they can evacuate.

When he gets there, Hux is already dead/dying. Instead of escaping, Kylo lays down beside him and waits to die.

+ If Kylo had been offered a chance to escape with the heroes (last chance at redemption) and turned it down.

So in Dredd, Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux's actor,) played a character who pretty much looked like a scraggaly kicked puppy with long hair and large dark robot eyes.

I wanna see Hux after a console blows up in his face of a skirmish with the Resistiance costs him an eye or both and he ends up either looking like a kicked puppy dog (who will also tear out your throat) or a space!thin white duke era David Bowie cause one of his eyes is put of proportion.

Can just be super gen and people being freaked out by his robo-stare, or something shippy with the other half teasing him about how he looks like a kicked puppy, not picky about ships.

I would like a fic where Kylo is a virgin, is asexual, and enjoys terrorizing the Finalizer with his unicorn army.

In a move to improve morale and make the lower-level grunts feel like they have some part to play in the Order, Hux decides to leave the naming to an open public poll. He asks for something that reflects the spirit of the First Order, something strong yet noble sounding.

It ends up being called Shippy McShipFace, thereby removing any lingering doubts Hux had about democracy being the stupidest thing ever.

+ of course Kylo was the one who suggested the name, just to fuck with Hux. Short barks of laughter distorted by a vocoder can be heard whenever someone says it.

+++ To punish Hux for his poll idea and Kylo for suggesting stupid names, Snoke orders that the name stays and assigns them command of the ship. Kylo is still laughing
