As part of his training, Snoke made Kylo have sex with a whole bunch of people. From First Order officials, to all the Knights of Ren, to random aliens just because they were somehow gross and Snoke wanted to test his loyalty.

Kylo never really wanted to but thought he had no choice and he always did it and always came, so he thought it was fine.

Years later, he is getting close to a partner (anyone but Rey if you can, please) and the moment comes that they're making out and then he realizes the other person wants to have sex with him, so he just sort of... says okay and assumes the position, and then his partner freaks out a bit and tells him "if you don't want to then we don't have to" and it hits him that all the previous stuff was rape
