Hux/Ben Solo, Soulmate pull

When Soulmates meet, they feel an huge pull to each other, a compulsion to go find their other half and just stay together until the bond is fully formed. This urge cannot be broken, and in fact grows worse and worse the more it is ignored.

Ben Solo and Hux are soulmates. They meet during the attack on Starkiller. Fortunately for Hux, he has a lot of experience in self discipline that allows him to keep from rushing towards Solo. Ben has Resistance members pulling him away.

The problem comes afterwards. Hux cannot reveal what happened without risking his position, so he tries to discretely deal with it. The FO has contingency plans in case a trooper meets his/her soulmate, drugs and stuff, but they grow less and less effective as time goes on.

Meanwhile, Ben is growing more and more restless and desperate as time goes on, to the point where Leia and Han almost need to lock him in a room to keep him from leaving. No matter how much his frantic babbles break their heart, they can't let him leave: the FO won't let him go if he goes to Hux.

Finn/Poe - the First Order tracks their stormtroopers

The First Order invests a lot of time and money in kidnapping and training stormtroopers. To protect their investment and deter escape attempts, they implant a small tracking device in all stormtrooper 'candidates' prior to training.

The Resistance has had to relocate a couple of times since Finn joined up. Finn, like all other FO recruits, is completely unaware that he has a tracker implanted.

+The procedure to remove the tracker is dangerous and invasive.

++Finn offers to surrender or leave to protect his friends.

Established or pre-slash Stormpilot is good. Bonus for Poe offering to go on the run with Finn if that's what he chooses to do.

Kylux or gen: academy!AU

Ben Solo falls to the Dark side and joins Snoke... who decides that the best place for his new apprentice to get a top-notch education is the First Order Academy on Arkanis (with Hux: 18, scary). Hand-wavey timey-wimey shenanigans to put him in the same year as Hux encouraged. Also accepted: crackfic where grown-ass canon!Kylo finds himself back in time as an adolescent in this scenario.

Basically, Seconds-from-tears/Force-fuelled murder Kylo trying to fit into St Trinians/Crunchem Hall Academy for Future Dictators, featuring baby landshark Hux.

FinnRey Aliens Made Them Make Out

Going off of the aliens made them do it trope: Finn and Rey are forced to make out by aliens for whatever reason. It's almost as arrousing as it is awkward

Gen or Poe/Finn/(Rey). FO attacks Yavin 4, Poe's committment to the Resistance is tested

The First Order launches a violent invasion on Yavin 4 and the Resistance is stretched thin/engaged in a fight elsewhere and can't afford to spare anyone. Poe rationally knows he has a duty to the Resistance and if there was something they could do to help they wouldn't hesitate. But although he keeps it to himself he can't help feeling deeply betrayed because he has so many times unquestioningly gone into battle to protect others and now no one is willing to protect his home world.

For the first time since he joined up Poe seriously considers going against orders and defecting to go fight on Yavin. Up to the author whether he does.

Finn and Rey hide being sick too well. Being sick gets a stormtrooper disciplined or decommissioned via airlock, so hiding it is the only way to survive. Being sick on Jakku made you a target, so if you got sick, you holed up with as many defences as you had and hoped the rations held out.

They hide being sick so well, no one realizes Rey's sick until she disappears into the nearby woods somewhere to barricade herself in a hidey-hole no one can find, and no one realizes Finn's sick at all until he passes out with full-blown pneumonia on the search party for Rey.

Poe is going nuts and blaming himself for not noticing. Leia is going to lecture the hell out of everyone, once they're better.

Finn/Poe, Kylo/Poe - Mpreg, tw. rape/non-con, body horror - not Omegaverse

Shortly after the destruction of Starkiller Base, Poe's health starts having symptoms - stomach pains, nausea, fainting. When Kalonia examines him, she discovers that he's in the very early stages of pregnancy.

Except - he's a standard male human and that's impossible.

While Poe was a prisoner on the Finalizer, Kylo used the opportunity to experiment on him. Poe thought the assault was part of the torture and didn't report it to spare Leia's feelings.

+Kalonia recommends terminating the pregnancy. If Poe even manages to carry to term they'll have to do a c-section to remove it.

+100 There's also a strong possibility that the baby could be Finn's. They got together shortly before flying out to blow up Starkiller.

+1000 Kylo wasn't just planning to let Poe die giving birth to his future apprentice. There's more to the procedure that he didn't get the chance to finish.

It's up to the author if Poe has the baby and if it's Finn's or Kylo's. Also feel free to emphasize the body horror aspect. Just as long as there's a happy(ish) ending with Finn loving and supporting Poe either way.

Because Snoke sending Kylo and Hux to those breeding swamps a few pages back was such a Beauliful Lifetime Event, more along those lines. Snoke is under the impression that one or the other is knocked up (dubious grasp of human anatomy/relationships ftw). Kylo and Hux- who may or may not even be together- have to work out where they're going to find a kid to appease the Supreme Leader, while working around a crew that is very anxious and full of pregnancy advice.

+ 10 for Hux finally admitting that just this one time clones may be the answer
+ 100 for vastly different co-parenting styles: Hux is fine with never seeing them, Kylo "abandonment issues" Ren will not hear of it.

Hand-wavey force-shenanigans mean that either Rey or Finn end up being turned back into their tiny child selves--little tiny, feral Rey who picks your pockets literally every time you're around her, hoards food, and doesn't want to owe anybody anything, or tiny trooper Finn whose First Order training is plastered a whole lot thicker over his personality are not the kind of children anyone on the resistance base is prepared to deal with. Either or both are completely baffled when people keep trying to treat them like children.

Gen, Kylo worships Padmé, not Vader

Kylo still has a disturbing case of hero worship for one of his grandparents, it just happens to be Padmé. He runs away to Naboo and there he meets his relatives who take him in and teach him all about his grandma and the amazing fashion of Naboo

+He's small enough when he gets there that he can wear Padmé's actual old dresses. He's heartbroken when he grows out of them.
+He wants to live up to all the ideals of Padmé, so he turns into a super fierce defender of the New Republic, democracy and anti militarism.
+He's still super weird and rather scary, just better dressed and on the right side.
+His own dresses are all designed to look like they're difficult to move in but they have some kind of clever design that make them great for fighting in without having to destroy them (layers that can be removed quickly, skirts that can be torn off without damaging the clothes too much.
+The general despair of his parents and uncle. Like, couldn't the kid have a normal interest, like lace making.
++He actually does make all his own lace.

If you want to put a ship in there go for it, I just want the focus to be Kylo's intense relationship with super elaborate clothes.

So obviously, rage-machine-with-a-murder-boner Kylo Ren has to carry a baggy of cookies with him everywhere he goes.

HARD MODE: Ren actually HATES the cookies he has to eat - he's on a strict athletic diet (abs don't shred themselves), so the cookies are more like overly-sweet vitamin disks...

So what if Leia and Han actually had like, 5 kids instead of just Ben. And what if all the rest of them went off to be totally normal, well-adjusted people, some with families, all with successful careers. All average. For example: Dave Solo has a used speeder dealership on Endor. Karen Solo-Fenix and her wife are high-profile engineers in downtown Coruscant. Frank Solo and his wife just adopted a youngling, and are adjusting to parenting, etc. (Obviously, I chose these mundane names to emphasize how average they all are. They're just examples.)

Ben was the youngest and was angry the minute he was born. The rest of his siblings never understood him. When they all join their parents for family dinners (before Jedi school), Ben would mope up in his room.

That kind of thing.

gen, the Republic muscles into the Resistance, ruins everything

The remnants of the Republic finally recognizes the First Order as a galactic threat, and send troops/supplies/ships to the Resistance. This is great -- except they also send other commanders and politicians with very different, very specific ideas of how the campaign should be managed. They command their own troops counter to Leia's orders in the field, undercut her authority in strategy meetings, fight publicly with her and each other. The original Resistance is 110% loyal to Leia but there just aren't enough of them to throw their weight significantly.

+++ Finn being surprised the surviving Republic representatives are exactly as the FO propoganda described: vain, decadent, self obsessed, leaving any planet not beneficial to them personally to fend for itself, etc. Disillusioned Finn, who is perhaps looked down on (or viewed as a PR opportunity, to be taken back where he can be both displayed and removed as a potential threat. Someone who turns traitor once...)
+ politics. Leia having to play the political game while trying to run a war.
+ Confused orders leading to panic in the field. Maybe some commanders try direct combat rather than the guerilla tactics the Resistance normally employs, leading to heavy losses.
++ Poe's frustration. This is why he left the NR military for the Resistance in the first place.
+ attempts at negotiations with the FO

All the things the First Order told him was wrong with him turns out to be bullshit. Everything they tried to stomp out of him is an asset, and under the wing of the Resistance (and Leia) Finn becomes their best strategizer, one of their most daring leaders, and someone people are willing to DIE for. He becomes the First Order's worst nightmare.

Finn/Poe- The way to a man's heart is through his stomach

Finn gets to be great friends with the cooks in the commissary because he genuinely and thoroughly appreciates and enjoys every piece of food they put the effort into making for him. Then he overhears the old adage of "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach" and he asks the Resistance's head chef if he'll teach Finn how to cook, because he wants to woo Poe. Or even if Poe doesn't feel that way about him, he wants to be useful to Poe, keep him energized, healthy, happy. Of course the entire cooking staff thinks Finn is too precious for this world and teach him how to cook, and he, being the quick learner that he is, takes to it amazingly well. And that old saying is absolutely right, because Poe is in love. (Well, even more in love.)

Poe/Finn: Finn's entire family is attractive and competing for Poe

They find Finn's world and Finn's family. Turns out Finn has 4 older siblings and they are all (almost) as attractive as Finn is. They're also a lot more confident and aware of their looks with healthy egos and lots of charm. So Finn is ecstatic to meet them, but also kind of wary because they are hitting on Poe hard and Finn, Finn isn't sure if he can compete.

But if Finn is good at anything it's defeating the odds, so he responds to his very attractive siblings' intentions towards the pilot he's been trying to woo by swallowing his fears and stepping up his game. He won't lose Poe without a fight!

They've been keeping it from us." and the Stormtroopers are like: "FUCK THEM. Burn this shit to the ground!" And the war is won because dessert.

In an AU where Ben never became Kylo Ren, he falls in love with General 'pretty uptight gingersnap' and decides to smuggle/kidnap him out for 'dates'...

Bonuses:

+ the Finalizer has the largest record for 'Raided by the Resistance' that it's embarrassing

+ Ben wooing Hux by doing stuff that ultimately annoys him (i.e. gifting him with supplies he stole from the FO in the first place, dressing him in Padme Amidala-style clothes, using his strategies against his rivals, etc.)

+ Hux's l̶o̶v̶e̶ life is now a joke amongst the FO; Ben/Hux supporters(Phasma) are UNDERSTANDABLY supportive (and he wants nothing more than to shove them out the airlock)

+ Leia staving off headaches at Ben's antics; Han doesn't know whether to encourage/discourage him

+ Snoke encourages it ('Seduce Ben Solo to the Dark Side, General, and victory will be ours') to Hux's mortification
