Jess Testor? Jessika Pava? More like Jessika Prana, daughter of King Prana (who is still pissed about the rathtars). Ben Solo isn't the only royal scion running around the galaxy under an assumed name.

King Prana finds out where she is and assumes the Resistance has kidnapped her/demands that she come home to fulfil her royal obligations/sends word of her impending arranged marriage/descends for a state visit with half of his court. The Resistance finds out who she is and don't care/are awkward for an afternoon/vent all of the princess jokes they're too scared to even think around Leia.

Some time ago I read meta about Finn and how novelization tells us that he was extremely good at being stormtrooper and would be excellent officer, but cared too much about his people to be valuable for First Order. Author wrote: "When Finn defected from First Order, Resistance gained a general".

I would very much like to see fic where Finn starts working at staff and everyone has a moment of realization that shit, this man has a brain on him, accompanied by ruthless streak natural for true leaders.

The First Order makes it a point to treat its male and female Stormtroopers the same in order to enforce conformity. Everyone gets the same uniform (obviously) everyone bunks together, showers together, gets the same haircut, etc. There are some things that are sex-specific (for example, men need to learn to shave their faces) but these are kept to the minimum.

After Finn deserts to the Resistance, he's introduced to gender norms, and he finds them absolutely baffling. Why do women shave their legs? Why can't men wear dresses? And so on.
