Hux/Rey, worst soulmate match happens

During or post-TFA, Hux and Rey meet and realize they are soulmates.

Being apart hurts and they certainly can't kill each other but they're also pretty horrified by the match (especially Rey) and have no idea how to deal with the situation.

First Order - Kamikaze - suicide + mass murder

The First Order lost, but they would never surrender. (They've seen what happened to officers who had surrendered. A lifetime caged and forgotten is a fate worse than death)

The day the remaining FO fleet crashed themselves into Republic planets' major cities at light speed, ex-General Brendol Hux took his own life despite heavy watch, while under Resistance custody.

Ben Solo lost his mother.
Kylo Ren lost the one person who accepted him as he was.
A grey Jedi with no name and a scar across his face moved to the Outer Rim, ravaged by war, abandoned again by the now also struggling Republic.

Finn/Poe Permission/Conditioning

Finn only broke through part of his conditioning, there's still plenty that remains. He won't eat unless given permission, he steps aside whenever someone with rank passes him, and he absolutely will not touch himself no matter how hard he gets.

When Poe sees he's hard one day he makes a joke about Finn going to take care of it. Finn is offended. He would never do something so base.

Kylux - Teenage runaways, Modern AU

Hux ran away from his abusive home/father when he was fifteen and has been on his own for years. One day, he comes across some emo wannabe, causing trouble.

He helps the guy out (what kind of name is Kylo?) and finds out that Kylo is a recent runaway.

He decides to help Kylo out until he can take care of himself (the guy is at least 18 ffs, y u so useless, STOP PICKING FIGHTS). Its totally because the guy is kind of pathetic, not that Hux might be getting a bit of a crush on him, nope, certainly not!

+ the Solo-Organa family are desperately searching for Kylo/Ben. Kylo always ends up running off (taking Hux with him) whenever he sees someone from his old life looking for him. (Hux is almost convinced he's spy or some shit)

+ Kylo ran away because he was in an abusive relationship with Snoke (His mother’s rival). Snoke blackmailed him to keep silent so he ran away instead.

+ Hux eventually finds out that Kylo's home life was not that bad (Absent dad/workaholic mother - Hux isn’t impressed) but when he finds out what happened with Snoke, he is more sympathetic.

+ Hux teaching Kylo basic survival skills - finding a safe place to sleep, finding food, pick pocketing. Kylo is VERY adamant that he doesn't want to find a proper job with paper work (he doesn't want to be found)

+ Phasma and Mitaka are fellow runaways Hux knows

Rey and Finn are crushing hard for each other and they and Luke are somewhere and they can't Jedi their way out (ysalimiri allover is a thing right?) So it's a fuck or die situation for reasons. Except because Luke is the elder he's seen as the one who has to make the payment (???)
He's mortified, Rey's like whatnow? And Finn has to watch.

Obviously dubcon is warrented but Luke's not a jerk and this is just all kinds of awkward for all of them.

Leia tried to argue for leniency in the sentencing of captured First Order officers and soldiers. They were brainwashed from youth, groomed just like her son from an even younger age. They were soldiers before they were even grown.

"Yesterday they were child-soldiers, but today they are rabid dogs, extremists, murderers, adults too far gone to recondition and reintegrate. You spare them, they would go right back to being enemies of the Republic, peace, democracy, and freedom itself."

Public executions were good for morale and good for votes, in these turbulent times. The people called for blood, and the senate served the people.

Kylo Ren was given partial custody of Brendol Hux III, Force sensitive, the great-grandson of Sheev Palpatine.

Kylo's being forced to attend one of his mother's fancy (political) dinners and HE IS NOT HAPPY.

Cue him asking his friend Hux to pretend to be his boyfriend and be entirely inappropriate with him at the dinner (which Hux's father is also attending: It's win/win for both of them in terms of mortifying their parents). While Hux had never thought of Kylo that way, he's not going to pass up the chance.

At the dinner, they're constantly making out, groping each other, and making dirty innuendos to each other where everyone can hear.

If they keep making out after the dinner party, it's totally force of habit... really... the sex afterward is just them getting carried away *cough*

+ Leia is just exasperated, Han thinks it's hilarious, Hux Snr looks like he's going to explode any second now.

gen, Ben is kidnapped, survives in garbage with Hux

Leia reaches out for help instead of sending 10yo Ben away to Luke, and Snoke's hold on Ben weakens. Desperate for his plans to not be entirely derailed, Snoke arranges a kidnapping, snatching Ben up and sending him to the Outer Rim. Ben's smuggled aboard a transport moving cadets to an Academy ship. The ship comes under attack, and in the confusion Ben and Hux end up together alone in the same shuttle, managing to land it on some backwater station/planet/whatever. Hux doesn't know who Ben is, and Ben doesn't exactly trust Hux, but they end up sticking together for lack of better options to survive.

- Ben boasts about his force mastery but isn't really skilled yet

- Hux tries to act cool and in command but flounders with his lack of experience/incomplete training.

- Ben's still an emotionally unstable brat as the damage has been done, but more conflicted with his impulses. He struggles to be calm like Luke with the force, but he's shit at it, and defaults back to drawing on his anger.

- Hux kills someone and expects to feel nothing but is actually shaken, represses it

- reluctantly impressed with each other

- The fledgling Resistance finds them first and scoops them up. Hux is livid, fully indoctrinated, and refuses to cooperate. Leia tries to use him as leverage against his father but papa Hux doesn't even consider it. Now they're stuck with him.

- Inadvertently Hux helps Ben keep Snoke out/helps him cope.

Somehow, for some reason, the First Order boys end up on the forest moon of Endor, and Kylo discovers, much to his amusement, that Hux has a near debilitating phobia of Ewoks.

It's not even about them being potentially dangerous or anything remotely rational, it's their beady little eyes and the way they look like walking stuffed animals and yes Ren even the baby ones if anything the baby ones are worse oh god it's coming this way Ren don't let it touch me...

Gen/Stormpilot - Angst, Finn finds out his family were FO loyalists - FO not that bad

Finn somehow finds out (Phasma or Hux drops a truth bomb on him?) that his family was made up of First Order loyalists/officers who died fighting the Republic/Rebels/Resistance.

Finn doesn't know how to take this (or even believe it) and Poe isn't sure how to comfort him.


+ he finds out ALL Stormtroopers are orphans - none of them were ever 'stolen', that was just Resistance Propaganda

+ he parents were killed when the ship (carrying cargo, minimal weapons) they were on was attacked by Resistance Pilots in an attempt to sabotage/delay the First Order

+++++ The First Order has the view of 'The Republic/Resistance started it' - They were outcast from their home worlds (by the Republic), as soon as they started to get back on their feet the 'Resistance' formed, their alliances with Outer Rim planets was seen as 'conquering', and their inherently military culture was seen as 'getting ready for war'. (This is why so many of the FO (*cough*Hux*cough*) hate the Resistance so much.)

++++++++++ Leia never realize forming the Resistance might have kick started the war.

So umm I was thinking how hilarious it would be if all of the major characters were a group of teens who get together on the weekend to play Dungeons and Dragons (or a space opera variant thereof).

Kylo as that one kid who always fights with the DM and pisses everyone off with his ridiculously edgy and overpowered character? Rey as the new player who eventually pulls off some super unexpected genius move that seals the whole campaign? Poe as the kind of DM who turns bad combat rolls into romantic caresses? These are just ideas, feel free to change things or add more characters! I'm fine with any pairings but no explicit sexual content.

Hux may call Kylo Ren a manchild he hates/loves. What if we take it literally?

alpha!Ben cannot get along with his beta!parents and uncle/master.

Kylo Ren and Hux met a lot earlier. They kept a 'friendly' rivalry and bonded through oppressive family legacy, neglectful parents, being underestimated youths, etc.

When Hux was 20/19 and Kylo newly turned 17/16, Hux went into a late first heat. Since Hux was the first and only omega Kylo had ever met, he had no idea what was happening and went into rut. Hux was mated and impregnated from the encounter.

Cue fellow/rival officers mocking Hux and his 'manchild' alpha. But Kylo is being such a sweet, dedicated and responsible alpha/father/husband that Hux can't help but (fall a little in love and) defend him.

+ childproofed Finalizer and handpicked babysitter crew (with pediatrician/maternity training, etc.)

+ more mature/controlled Kylo

+ anti-Leia!Hux of the FO

+ Hux using his 'delicate state' to his advantage (to win his men, get what he wants, etc.)
