Snoke tipped his hand with Kylo -- he knows that his master wants to replace him with Rey. He's damaged. Perhaps irreparably.

Hux is also on the chopping block, as has been made clear. On his own, he has little chance of escape. With Kylo, however...

The two manage to get away, barely, though Kylo was still recovering and is now worse, with limited medical supplies. Suddenly strapped for credits -- his account frozen and Ren's useful if annoying sorcery out of commission -- Hux now has to make ends meet. He can repair parts, is an accounting and engineering prodigy, has many useful skills that are, as it turns out, difficult to market. So he falls back on the oldest profession.

bonus:

- Ren is an awful, demanding patient, and ungrateful besides, when he isn't wallowing in self-pity.

- Hux isn't very experienced -- not a virgin, but he hasn't had many sexual relationships.

- Trying to figure out alien biology.

- Has no means to force someone to pay up if they don't feel like it.

- Most of his credits go toward Ren's recovery. It's not cheap, keeping him in bacta strips and bandages when he won't stop taking them off/ruining them.

- Hux is clueless about social norms outside the Order and is unintentionally rude (he prefers to mean it when he indulges in cruelty). It doesn't go well.

- Hux finally has enough of Kylo's bullshit and loses his temper completely, which is a new and exciting low.

When the finalizer crew finds out Kylo and Hux are banging, they prepare for the worst. They expect them to be covered in bruises and to fuck like their both going off to die.

They laugh a lot and kiss, smiling and letting the other know what they're doing is so very good. Kylo loves to be fucked and Hux indulges him and they both get to relax a bit.

Hux expects Kylo Ren to be the type to dominantly and aggressively cling to his partner and generally manhandle them wherever he wants in bed and elsewhere. Instead, he discovers that Kylo's biggest desire is just to curl himself up as small as possible and have Hux hold him. Hux isn't good at this whole affection and spooning thing, but he decides to attempt.

Kylo was already planning to break and keep Poe for good after he was first captured, and planted a series of mental commands/Jedi mind tricks/whatever to ensure that Poe would find his way back to him even if he was rescued.


Cue Poe, safely back at the Resistance, slowly being consumed by a horrifyingly increasing sex drive and vivid dreams and thoughts of Kylo using him as his pet, until he's unable to fixate on anything else. He knows exactly what's happening and is disgusted and terrified, but can't bring himself to confide in anyone when it's taking all his willpower not to fly directly into the First Order and prostrate himself.

After the injuries Kylo sustained, it's likely he was put on some pretty heavy painkillers during his recovery. Tell me about what happens next.

Can be silly, like the story about the guy who got his wisdom teeth out and proceeded to yell "WHAT'S UP FUCKS?!" at everyone in the smoothie store, or could be more serious and deal with addiction. I'm ok with either, but if you want to make it shippy I prefer Kylo/Hux.

Poe and Finn have been together for a while, and whilst there's nothing wrong with their sex life, it's all been pretty vanilla thus far. So Poe starts asking Finn if there are any particular fantasies he has that they could use as a starting point for exploring what kind of thing Finn might be into.

Finn's kind of embarrassed and reluctant to share, because he's really only got the one... and that is that he'd kind of like Poe to dress up as/pretend to be Hux.

See, growing up as a stormtrooper, Finn was bombarded with propaganda and speeches and the like all the damn time, and as he's about 10 years younger than Hux, his 'sexual awakening' lined up more or less exactly with Hux's rise to prominence in the Order. The upshot being that even though he knows it's pretty messed up, he ended up with a bit of a thing about Hux, and it's the only non vanilla thing he knows he's into.

Poe is taken aback, but he's an understanding sort.

Kylo falls in love with his co-leader, and with the help of the child (Brennan?, OMC with dark hair, delicate features and blue eyes), begins the hard, rocky process of courting Anguis 'I-have-a-personal-vendetta-against-the-Resistance' Hux.
Shouts, bruises, blows and denials are exchanged, and when Kylo got to the 'removing helmet' phase of the courtship, Hux freaks. It turns out that the absent asshole father in the General and his child's life is none other than Ben Solo, Kylo's mortal enemy, twin brother and poster boy for the Resistance. (Resistance infiltration mission, undercover seduction, smuggler con, capture/interrogation dub-con, one night stand, etc.) Cue Hux being hit with the realization he may have a type, and Kylo raging/angsting about favorite child goody-two-shoes Ben getting first dibs on everything he likes/loves.

(EU-crossover) Reluctant Allies - Leia confronts Mand'alor Boba Fett

So in the Expanded Universe, there's a storyline where Boba Fett escapes the Sarlacc pit (with some gnarly/awesome scarring), meets up with some True Mandalorians who help him reconnect with his heritage, and eventually Fett becomes the ruler of a resurgent Mandalorian system, helping his people reclaim pride in their martial traditions and yet still be balanced between the warmongering that tarnished their past and the pacifist inaction that nearly destroyed them during the Empire's reign.

Cut to the post TFA timeline - The Mandalore system isn't part of the Republic, but the Mandalorians have no love for the First Order - and Fett has made it clear that they will fight back with all their legendary might if the Order dare incur into their space.

Leia desperately needs more allies for her Resistance, bc the New Republic are being slow af in prepping an actual military response to the fact that the First Order are now preparing to wage an actual war of conquest.
Despite her staff explaining that an alliance with the Mandalorians would give them the troops and pilots they so need, Leia is reluctant even to meet with their ruler to discuss terms.

Feeling that the whole incident with the Hutt, the Imperial bounty, and the metal bikini is *so* last war and "Your Highness, please get over it - there is a war to fight!", Mand'alor Fett and his loyal warriors show up quite unannounced at the resistance HQ to talk an alliance. Leia is...not pleased, to say the least.

Bonus:
- Leia has an Anakin Moment™ and socks the former bounty hunter in the face.
- "You know, if you need someone to track down Han's killer, I still take hunting contracts."
- Fett is a bit uneasy around Rey and Luke. Seeing your dad get decapitated by a Jedi will do that to you.
