Who do you think will die in VIII and IX? I think Hux definitely will, but I hope he doesn't die in the first ten minutes of VIII because I like Gleeson and Hux is a cool-silly villain*. Kylo could die in IX (helping Rey kill Snoke? Going full Dickhead and dying after an epic fight? Who knows), Snoke sure will and I won't cry over it. Maz could die protecting someone? If we ever see her again, that is.

Of course I don't want the trio to die (ESPECIALLY FINN), but I would also be really pissed off if Luke and Leia don't have a happy ending.
I want most stormtroopers to survive/defect so they can live a life without brainwashing and raise alien chickens somewhere.

*also for purely ship reasons, since I like reading kylux. Coughs coughs.

I think Leia and Lando would have been a better couple in the long run than Leia and Han. They would have made a fantastic power couple and probably would have fought less with each other. I do love Leia and Han falling in love, but I would have liked to see Chancellor Leia and First Husband Lando and their pretty biracial babies.

Do you make playlists when you're writing? Do you have playlists for characters or pairings?

So, they want to bring "order" to a "lawless" galaxy, but... what does that mean, exactly? I can't seem to find anything on the wiki. What laws do they want to impose? What doctrine do they uphold? Obviously they're made to visually invoke Nazis, but what groups are space!Nazis looking to oppress?

Anybody have anything on this?

I like both ships, but I also know that there's a vocal contingent of people who do not take well to the villain ships being popular. Do you think if Kylo/Hux overtakes Finn/Poe as popular pairing there will be wank, or do you think it will just happen calmly?

No ship wars but if there is a pairing you don't quite get or can't get into.

I don't get or like Luke/Wedge just not feeling it and probably never will. No offense to shippers. I feel like I should be more into it since I enjoy most everything else with the original trilogy characters.

I've seen a lot of good Ben AUs, but damn! Not with Sith Leia.

I was wondering why there was so little Rey/Finn (405 fic on Ao3 compared to 1270 Rey/Kylo or 2126 Poe/Finn): I personally ship Poe/Finn but I thought Rey and Finn were adorable together in the film. I know many people -including me- aren't into reading or writing het ships but since Reylo is so popular...is it because Rey/Finn might be canon and is thus not as interesting?
I just want more fanfic/fanart about these two ;w;

I mean Gleeson is cute and all, but in a film filled with cute actors, here is this space nazi and all around horrible person who had very little lines and screen time, didn't do much other than being a vehicle to fire the Starkiller, not very definitive characterization, and some rivalry with Kylo Ren.

Was it other people’s fanfics? I didn’t notice Hux at all until some very well-written fics depicting him as the long-suffering bureaucrat stuck fixing other people’s mistakes, and it filled me with sympathy (I know that feel). But that may not be the movie Hux at all. For all we know he may be a man who didn’t do any engineering planning for Starkiller, was not all that effective (look at their guard detail, 2 high valued prisoners one right after another, lack of personnel at a key weakness of the base), had never seen active combat (canonish), and only got there because daddy + young and easier to manipulate + is a vicious ass + everyone else sucked more + may be related to Palpatine + Snoke liked gingers + has a magical wish granting cat.

So why Hux?
