So, they want to bring "order" to a "lawless" galaxy, but... what does that mean, exactly? I can't seem to find anything on the wiki. What laws do they want to impose? What doctrine do they uphold? Obviously they're made to visually invoke Nazis, but what groups are space!Nazis looking to oppress?
From what I remember from the prequel trilogy, it seems to me like the order they want to bring back is mainly the Empire's political system, with more centralised, powerful and authoritarian executive power, versus the more decentralized democratic Republic/New Republic senatorial central government. The main reason for the creation of the Empire in Episode III was the need for a more centralized and effective leadership to put an end to civil unrest caused by the Clone War, a bit like what historically happened with Rome switching to the Principate after years of civil war. To their defense it's a somewhat justified political stance, given how the former territories controlled by the Empire seem to have been separated into factions in the aftermath of the Battle of Endor.
