I always feel like a weird loser outsider when I join a new fandom. Like I'm so desperate to join in but I don't want to be like, "YOU GUYS DON'T KNOW ME, BUT I'M REALLY COOL AND FUN! BE MY FRIEND!" Like I need this to happen organically somehow, but HOW?

totally not trying to draw people off this meme, which is going great btw, i've read some really great stuff & found some new authors to follow, but did i see a mention of another sw/tfa kinkmeme?? can someone link a poor soul who is just trying to read. all. the. fic.
What is up with all the super long, overly detailed, very specific prompts? As a writer, there's no way I'm going to fill a multiple paragraph prompt that outlines the entire plot of the fic. It scares me off from writing, even if I love the general idea of the prompt.
So, I'm big on formatting my posts nicely (especially on the fills post, because clicking links is so much easier than copying and pasting for those of us who use mobile devices to browse the kmeme) and I can't seem to figure out how to get the effect that the a href tag usually does?

I feel weirdly depressed about my writing. I've gotten some good reviews, but I wonder if those people just have bad taste. I read other fanfics and they are clearly way, way more polished than anything I write and I feel like I'm just floundering. I'm slow and I feel like everything is going so quickly cheesy and out of character. But I don't want to stop because I've had so many people asking for more.

Hi I just wanted to say so far this meme seems so nice and I really like everyone even though you're anonymous strangers. I quit tumblr about a year ago because it was making fandom not-fun for me, so it's nice to see people having fun with this goofy shit.
Just to gauge general reactions/thoughts: How does this meme feel about RPF? I don't remember anything in the rules (though I may have missed it...) and I'm interested in placing a couple of gen and/or crack prompts about this adorable cast and would be happy to fill a few, too.
