Whatt?? That's crazy. I never really did any big bangs because I don't have the attention span lol - but they're a staple! Ficathons and prompt tables, at the very least - they generate so much new material and keep the creativity flowing. You push each other when there's a deadline.
What do you ship? I'm finding myself on the OT3 bandwagon but I'm also a big OT Han/Leia fan.
I KNOW! I've done a couple big bangs in my day, but some of my favorite fics over the years have come from big bangs. That's why I was so happy to see an anon kink meme pop up for Star Wars. So many fandoms don't have them anymore!
I'm definitely on the OT3 bandwagon because I love a good OT3, but I've always been a fan of Han/Leia and any of the original trio interacting. I really want the next movie to have some scenes with Luke and Leia interacting (and ngl, I'm really upset we didn't get to see old!Han and old!Luke interacting because I adore their friendship)

I always like to start writing in a new fandom with anon fic. It's a nice way to get comfortable with the characters and setting.
Without knowing any spoilers, I was pretty certain of what would happen to Han so I was prepared, but I would have liked some Han and Luke or Han and Poe interactions. But yes, OT3. I'm hoping Episode VIII will have some great OT3 scenes.
Yeah, I'm definitely way off my game. It's been a year since I wrote much of anything and... seven?? years since I wrote anything Star Wars. A kink meme is just the right thing to help me work out the kinks, so to speak. :P
I wasn't surprised in the least, yeah, even though I avoided spoilers almost entirely. I WAS surprised there weren't any Han and Poe scenes based on a few things Oscar Isaac had said at Comic Con but that I must have misunderstood. Ah well, that's what fic is for. I'm hoping VIII will give us a lot of the three of them for sure, as well as some Phasma - I was bummed to see so little of Gwendoline Christie.
