I agree that people have a right to be uncomfortable (hell, I'M uncomfortable with non-con) but the reylo tumblr tag is literally FLOODED with anti-reylo stuff and it's really annoying when I'm trying to look for reylo stuff. Other than that I have no problem with them. I have been a hardcore ship hater in the past and I can understand why they do it, (honestly, though, for all the moral highground when I was hating it was a lot of group mentality mean girl shit, soooo) but I've never tagged my hate because I had goddamn class.

Well. Tumblr.

It's an echo chamber of immature behavior.

MTE. Far too many people get off on being sanctimonious on Tumblr...yet will ignore truly problematic 'flaws' of their ~ social justice warrior ~ favs.

Fandoms take the worst hits imo...as in ~ if you don't ship what I like you can burn in hell ~

ITA. One of my current fandoms is overrun with modern AUs that read like sanctimonious social justice warrior lectures and it's so annoying. I'm cool with exploring different facets of identities in fic, but there's a way to do that so it doesn't sound like a regurgitated textbook.
