Kylux, Kylo Discovers First Order Culture

The Finalizer ship crew do their best to wipe off all semblance of individuality and look like they were birthed out of a casern. Hence the stiff affected accents, the formal address to one another, the no-jokes atmosphere etc etc. But it’s all an act and people are still people.

In fact, back on Homeworld the people are not so impersonal. Even if artistic expression/cultural customs/slang is somewhat limited due to the State deeming it “irrelevant to the advancement of the Order”, it still thrives and spreads amongst the people. Moreso since the Government doesn’t particularly regulate/monitor it since they think it’s benign + don’t have the funds to control all this harmless nonsense. So, very unofficial, very untouched-by-State-propaganda culture.

I want Kylo stumbling onto First Order culture and being utterly puzzled by it, and possibly feeling a bit left out since he’s on a ship full of people who share something in common while he finds himself being an outcast, once again.

++ Hux and Phasma sometimes slip back to their original accents and home vernacular when talking to one another. Ren notices and is not happy.
+++ First Order HUMOUR! First Order private jokes! Ren is on the bridge and a Petty Officer says something seemingly serious and all business-like when suddenly everybody snicker/laugh openly/smile with amusement. EVEN HUX! HOW WAS THAT FUNNY???

Hux finds himself defeated and overwhelmed by stress, when he can't deal with life he copes by getting a nice hard fuck, but he stopped doing that when he made General because he only trusted higher-ups to do that with due to worries about being blackmailed.

His only real option is Kylo. And he hates the man but he looks exactly like the kind of person who could dominate him and he is in a position that does not directly align with his rank.

Nobody else has ever seen or heard from Snoke; when other people go into the holoprojector room where he speaks with Kylo and Hux there is nothing there. That's because Snoke isn't real, he is actually their shared delusion.

Brendol Hux II is sent away to be a cadet at the tender age of 11, he becomes a child prodigy assasin by 13 since no one expects a child to murder in cold blood or the First Order to stoop so low. He kills and blackmails his way up the ranks, ears and eyes always open, blade always sharp.

Benjamin Organa-Solo was a different case. Snoke groomed him while his parents backs were turned, coerced and cajoled him into acting against his nature. He nearly broke after he killed the padawans at Luke's school. Like all Skywalkers, he feels to much, too strongly, Snoke would not stand for such weakness in his tools. The First Order snatched him up, conditioned him, pared away his softness, shaped his thoughs to idolize Vader, and renamed him Kylo Ren.

tl;dr Black Widow!Hux and Winter Soldier!Kylo Ren/Ben Solo, up to A!A weather they conspire to escape the FO and reclaim their lives (and kiss) or rule as two deeply broken emperors (who kiss)

+ startling moments where Ben Solo breaks through the Kylo Ren shell (tantrums? oddly kind comments? bouts of sobbing?) before he's dragged off for another round of reconditioning

Finn works for a travelling carnival, doing odd jobs and occasionally reading Tarot cards when they need an extra booth.

One day the carnival comes across a girl lying on the side of the road; they take Rey in and she is revealed to have incredible powers but often wakes from vivid nightmares.

The preacher, Kylo Ren, travels the land spreading the word of his God, Snoke, along with his manager Hux who's just in it for the money. He shares dreams with Rey but does not know she is his nemesis.

Rey is a masked vigilante who actually tries to help the most vulnerable in the city and bring down corrupt politicians and bad cops. She is mentored by Luke, an old sergeant who had to fake his own death after becoming a whistleblower against his own department.

Finn is tasked with finding Rey and bringing her down; along the way he starts to admire her and is increasingly convinced she's flirting back every time she slips through his fingers.

Rey goes off to poke around some rimworlds and find out more about the Jedi, Kylo Ren ~*senses*~ her and follows. They faceoff on the uninhabited planet, far from their respective ships and comms to contact backup troops, and slavers snatch them up. They confiscate all their stuff save for the clothes on their backs, collar (Force repressing, yay!) and cuff them. Slaver #1 asks how the capture went, Slaver #2 said it was tricky, "She's fast, and he's.. Weird,"

Do the galaxy's worst half-cousins escape unscathed? Does Rey scramble away with Force-aided scavenger speed? Does Kylo manage to mindwhammy everyone? Do the two of them (GASP) put aside their differences tenporarily and get out together? Totes up to A!A, i just wanna see where writers run with this brainfart.

No Reylo plz, endless snark and sass between them is highly encouraged.

Kylux - delayed reaction to trauma

After the Starkiller fiasco, Hux is taken to a military trial to decide if he is fit for leadership. While he is there, a group of officers decide to take advantage and rape him, as they are sure he will be stripped of rank and be unable to retaliate. However, it is ultimately decided Hux will keep his command.  He disposes of his assailants and thinks that's the end of that.

Kylo is aware of what happened. But Hux seems to consider the matter closed. He hasn't been acting affected, having resumed his place on the Finalizer and continued on as always. Assuming Hux has moved past it, Kylo initiates sex. It's fine, at first. Hux's behavior is a little off, perhaps, but he doesn't ask Kylo to stop. Until, abruptly, Hux drops into a full blown panic attack.

+ they are mid-fuck when Hux is triggered
+ Hux being confused by his own reactions. FO isn't great with mental health care or education, and he is unprepared to cope beyond repression.
+ Kylo doesn't have much experience dealing with emotions in a way that doesn't involve violence.
+ weird and disturbing comfort (asking about how Hux had them killed, recalling the Hosnian system destruction, offering tidbits of Kylo's history, very intense close eye contact (+forehead to forehead) etc)

Finn's patents have known the First Order had their son for a long time, when they finally learn where he's been kept they hire the best smugglers duo Han and Ben Solo to rescue him. Han doesn't want to be involved with the First Order (he's been avoiding them, Snoke, to keep Ben safe). But Ben decides to take the mission anyway because they're paying a lot and he's always been a risk taker.

+ He ends up finding out about Star Killer base and can warn the Resistance.
++ Since Han isn't coming he sneaks of with his cousin Rey.
+++ They end up accidentally rescuing Poe too who had been recently captured.
++++ Finn was force sensitive and taken to be part of the Knights of Ren, whoever is leading them is up to you (Phasma? Hux?).

Because I just got back from the cinema and haven't stopped crying, and for some reason I decided I wanted to post a prompt that would make me cry more.

For those who haven't seen the movie/read the book:
A young twenty-something gets hired to be a paralyzed man's caretaker by his family, as the man wants to be euthanized but his family want to show him that there's something worth living for. Over the course of six months, the two fall in love.

For those who HAVE seen/read "Me Before You", I'm pretty ambivalent towards the ending, even if it did make me cry to bits; so feel free to end it with either the original or one of your own making!

BONUSES:
+ The roles can be interchangeable, but I really would like to see Kylo as Louisa/the caretaker and Hux as Will/the paralyzed man.

The FO loves a good fundraiser. Hux has managed to avoid most -- he's socially stiff and hates parties -- but after Starkiller he's trying to unruffle as many feathers as possible. A little embarrassment is worth it in the long run. He somehow gets roped into being auctioned off for a "date" along with other officers at a donor dinner event. It's stupid, and undignified,  but ultimately harmless.

Then Kylo shows up to bid. Alarmed, the Finalizer crew keeps matching him, pooling resources to save their general. The dignitaries are in a snit -- this is supposed to be their event -- and get aggressive with their bids. The atmosphere turns hostile. Alliances are formed. The top brass are thrilled and egg it on. Hux is mortified.

+ Phasma's rich as fuck and mostly indifferent (nothing's going to happen, it's a formal dinner for fuck's sake (if anyone tries anything heads will roll))
+ "I see him every day, why would I pay for more?"

Finalizer is over-run by space-bunnies. The thing that's different about space-bunnies is they have irresistable Force-like capacity to make anyone who sees them a puddle of cooing 'omg lookit their lil whiskers and nosies!' that will care for their bunny forever and fight to the death to protect it. The bunnies are also immortal and impervious to harm and seem to have no agenda other than ear scratchings on demand and constant, plentiful space-veggies. The effect on the First Order's flagship is devastating to their plans for galactic domination, but OMG BUNNIES, WHO CARES IF WE RULE THE GALAXY?!?!

Is it a random natural occurrence? Is it a Resistance plot? Who knows! Who cares! MUST PROTECT THE BUNNIES!!!

the extended adventures of rey, finn, and poe as they try their best to deal with all the fuckery that comes with working at a pool. potentialy featuring phasma, hux, and kylo as the snooty shift managers who go out of their ways to be dicks. it's gonna be a long summer.
any/all pairings are great, go as wild as you want with the story:

+rey and finn are lifeguards and tbh they are not getting paid enough to keep the little assholes from drowning each other ("JJ! JJ, don't- MRS. BINKS, CONTROL YOUR SON.")
+phasma spends nearly all of her shift away from the pool, in the weight room. sure thats technically illegal but shes gotta have those gainzzz.
+hux keeps making kids cry when they ask if the playroom is open yet and he launches into a rant about procedure and rules and buraecracy
+kylo gets reprimanded for being late and goes on a rampage against the neatly folded towels hux has just set up, leading another rant from the resident seething ball of rage
+poe teaches that in-water zumba class for old ladies. all of the ladies are in love with poe.
