the extended adventures of rey, finn, and poe as they try their best to deal with all the fuckery that comes with working at a pool. potentialy featuring phasma, hux, and kylo as the snooty shift managers who go out of their ways to be dicks. it's gonna be a long summer.
any/all pairings are great, go as wild as you want with the story:

+rey and finn are lifeguards and tbh they are not getting paid enough to keep the little assholes from drowning each other ("JJ! JJ, don't- MRS. BINKS, CONTROL YOUR SON.")
+phasma spends nearly all of her shift away from the pool, in the weight room. sure thats technically illegal but shes gotta have those gainzzz.
+hux keeps making kids cry when they ask if the playroom is open yet and he launches into a rant about procedure and rules and buraecracy
+kylo gets reprimanded for being late and goes on a rampage against the neatly folded towels hux has just set up, leading another rant from the resident seething ball of rage
+poe teaches that in-water zumba class for old ladies. all of the ladies are in love with poe.

this is an incredibly pure and delightful prompt. seconding so hard.

No, they should definitely let Jar Jar Binks drown. But so much YES to that last.

I'm picturing Obi Wan as the resident Pool Grandpa who just sits under an umbrella in the same chair every day, reading giant-ass books while secretly watching the drama unfold.

JJ Binks is trapped on the highest diving board, too scared to jump, too proud to climb back down. Finn starts climbing up the ladder like a hero while Poe tries to call out to JJ encouragingly, "Hey buddy, it's okay, just take a deep breath..." but the awful crowd of lil shits have taken that as their cue to start chanting "JUMP, BUDDY, JUMP!" drowning out Rey's "MRS! BINKS! YOUR CHILD!" and Finn's "I'VE JUST REALISED I'M NOT GREAT WITH HEIGHTS! HELP!"

Meanwhile, Hux is telling a little girl that pool noodles are "a privilege not a right" as Phasma deadlifts him. Kylo hasn't even shown up for work yet.

Obi Wan takes this all in with weary fondness, sips his ice tea and flips the page of his book, waiting for it, any time now... "HELP US, OLD MAN KENOBI, YOU'RE OUR ONLY HOPE!"

I JUST LAUGHED FOR A WHOLE FUCKIN MINUTE IMAGINING KYLO THROWING HUX'S PERFECTLY FOLDED TOWELS ALL OVER THE PLACE IN FLUFFY FLOPPY PILES, HOLY SHIT

Then I saw the bonus about Poe and pool zumba for active thirsty seniors and started laughing AGAIN. This whole prompt is just unreasonably great.

Everything in this prompt and all the commentary is perfect. Also, Kylo really hates that his mother joined the Zumba ladies. Just because she's retired doesn't mean she needs to start politicking in the local pool and doesn't she know that Poe is half her age?! Gross, Mom.

I'm laughing so hard because you just know that Leia would always be trying to get ppl involved in grassroots community activism even as she splashes around to the hottest Zumba jams and winks outrageously at Nice Young Man Poe. Kylo desperately wants to ignore her but he needs to make sure she doesn't turn the shallow end of the pool into a hotbed of radical eco-terrorism. Again.

Han stops by once a week or so to try and bond with Kylo (and maybe attempt to woo Leia while he's at it). It ends with too many of the TFA-age pool employees crushing on him for his liking, but hey, free shit and attention!

This is even more embarrassing when it's revealed that Kylo still calls Leia "Mommy" when he's mad/sad/WANTS DAD TO GET LOST.
