Hux/Other, Hux/Kylo: Hux is stuck with a husband he hates.

Hux got married more or less as soon as he was of age, to a man who's as old as his father - one of his father's friends in fact, in an arrangement that his father set up. He was happy enough right at the beginning; his new husband was an Imperial war hero and it was all very flattering and being a 'married man' made him feel all mature and important compared to his peers.

That did not last long.

Hux soon found himself being treated as little more than a possession by his husband. Dragged around to parties and used for sexual gratification at home, but not listened to or respected. Plus, while being married to an experienced 'older man' sounded exciting in theory, in practice what he really ended up with was an old man. Half the reason he worked so hard to advance so fast through the ranks was because every assignment gave him an excuse to get away from home.

He can't leave the guy, because he knows whose side his father would take in that argument and how difficult his life would then become. So he just tolerates the visits (where he gets belittled at every turn and forced into performing 'marital duties'), and carries on an affair with Kylo in secret.

Kylo, for his part, would dearly love to just murder the guy so he and Hux could be happy together in peace.

Somewhat inspired by a prompt several pages back.

Life appears to be going as expected upon the Finalizer. And perhaps there is nothing odd occurring. It's not like they would be affected by Mercury in retrograde.

People are dropping Queen lyric references in normal everyday conversation. Some are outright singing them. Anywhere and everywhere.

This prompt doesn't need to be a musical. I originally considered it in the light of A Knight's Tale. Just dropping lyrics randomly into dialogue or narrative.

After Starkiller Hux ends up seeing his father. He's relieved; his father always been a beacon of stability to Hux, providing a guiding hand forward. Before he can even get a word out, Brendol just decks him. No build up, no warning, he just punches him right in the face.

+ if Brendol has never physically struck Hux before (he was always an obedient son, and verbal/restrictive reprimands were highly effective)
+ Hux idolizes his father
+ Staring up, shocked, at his father with a bloody nose/torn lip, too stunned to even move

Childhood sweethearts Ben and Poe promised to marry each other. They've only kissed gently etc since due to age difference Ben doesn't feel ready for more and Poe accepts it (canon difference is little less than three years or so, but author can make it smaller just younger Ben)

For Poe's birthday (18 or 19), Luke allows Ben to go home for the weekend and he decides to surprise his boyfriend so he doesn't tell anyone.

This doesn't end well when he ends up walking in on his mother popping his boyfriend's cherry

Finn and Poe are trapped in a tight space together for several hours and they have to keep quiet (hiding, stowaways on an enemy ship, w/e) Except Poe really needs to pee and of course the urge keeps getting progressively worse. Turns out Finn has an... interest. And it doesn't help at all that Poe keeps squirming against him, clearly desperate but trying to keep still and quiet and not blow their cover.

Would love it if there's some h/c in there where Finn's main concern is to try and soothe Poe a little and he won't act on his arousal if Poe's uncomfortable with that. (Totally up to author if he is though, I'm always down for things unexpectedly turning into porn :D)

Rey is tentatively beginning a relationship with bi!poly!Finn, who's also with Poe.

While on a mission, Finn is captured by an alien mind-hive/parasitic plant/psychic machine.

Rey and Poe find his body hooked up to the nervous system of the creature, which is draining his life force while keeping his mind trapped in a dream world.

While Poe tries to disable the creature from outside, Rey manages to enter the dream world, and has to fight her way through layers of Finn's subconscious fantasies, trying to blend in so that the creature doesn't realise she's an intruder in the dream. She finds a world in which Finn is married to Poe and Rey doesn't exist; a world in which Finn is the Supreme Leader of the First Order, Poe is his lieutenant/lover and Rey is his enemy; and finally a world in which Rey herself has ascended into a Force-wielding demigod and brought peace to the galaxy.

Somehow she has to convince Finn to leave all the dream worlds behind and wake up with her.

Ben Solo - Low Self-Esteem and Jealousy

Ben has always had low self-esteem issues. He wasn't as strong in the Force as his cousin Rey or as good as a pilot as Poe Dameron. People would joke about how people like Leia and Han Solo would have a kid...that well looked like him. This only made him want to prove himself even more, sometimes walking closely towards slipping to the Dark Side. The voices didn't help either, feeding off his doubts.

That means that when he decides to bring his boyfriend home he's a bit overprotective. More so when Rey and Poe befriend them and it looks like they have more fun spending time with them and the other pilots than they do him.

My perfect otp for this would be Finn/Kylo, but I'm going to leave it open for any other character. If just prefer no Reylo. Make it as dark or light as you want.

Combining the happy and trashy tropes that I love.

Young baby Hux was found by Han and Leia shortly after the fall of the Republic. His parents were dead/couldn't be found, and so they took him in and raised him as their own. A couple years later, Ben was born, and thus the happy couple had two beautiful sons to raise.

Flash forward to 30 years later, and despite all the troubles in the Galaxy, notably with the rise of the First Order, the family is still relatively at peace. They fight for the Resistance, and seem to be the perfect models for all that is righteous and moral in the Galaxy.
Except that Ben and Brendol are totally having regular, filthy pseudo-incest sex with bonus very un-brotherly love for each other. If anyone actually found out, it would be very not okay, like catastrophically so. Good thing no one ever will, right?

Bonus:
+ Light-side Ben and Hux are much mellower than canon counterparts, but they still are temperamental and very prickly respectively.
++ Snoke decided to go for single child Rey Skywalker rather than more surrounded Ben. Years later, when Lady Ren interrogates Ben, she sees all the pseudo-incest. Clearly, those two belong to the Dark Side and she really needs to make everyone see that.

Finn/Anyone - Competency

So I have a head cannon were Finn is very good at tactical planning/executing plans and thinking on the fly (hahapun) without realizing it. He stores information like a sponge, learning things as he goes and is just like "so I saw you do a thing, and you explained to me a thing, and I was in a place where things were exploding and I panicked".

Maybe a 5+1 fic where Finn is just randomly good at something small but life saving by just watching someone or making a connection just from listening to reports or whatever. And whoever you choose to have a giant crush on him (I really like Poe but super okay with whomever) is just like "you make me so angry because I can't fucking kiss you right now".

+ If someone tries to talk shop to him and he's all "???are you sure you don't want to talk to Rey???" and they're like "bitch I saw that shit you pulled on (whatever) mission" and he's like, "yeah I saw Rey do this thing and it only was a little different by (overly simplified reasoning)" and the someone just looking at the person that has a crush on Finn like "this is how you are going to fucking die"

Stormpilot, Kylux: intense househunting hunting rivals AU

So it's New York, where apartment hunting is a nightmare. Young working professionals hire house hunting professionals to help them find a place to live. It's what you do.

Poe hires old friend (who he kind of hates half the time), Kylo Ren to help him in the competitive apt hunting market. Poe just had a roommate bail on him and he can't afford to keep his two bedroom on his own anymore. Meanwhile, Finn, starting a new job in a new city, hires someone his coworker Slip recommends for being appropriately cutthroat at house hunting: Hux.

Cue the two pairs constantly running into each other at viewings all over Manhattan. Hux and Kylo are full of tension and long-time rivalry and once they know they're directly up against each other on this one, they set off to find their clients the PERFECT place and to more importantly, BEAT EACH OTHER OUT in signing it.

Meanwhile, happy puppies Finn and Poe keep looking forward to running into each other because love at first sight is apparently a thing. But what's even worse than that is that the two of them are SHARING the listings that they're going to see with each other and it is NOT helping their angry, competitive brokers ONE BIT.

(Ultimately, in the end, Poe and Finn decide to move in together into Poe's current place. Basically nothing goes in Kylux's favor except for maybe how they both get drunk and hate sex each other after a long day of losing their commission because their clients were both two people who are probably TOO NICE to live in New York.)

Finn/Poe: Finn gives Poe a run for his money in piloting

So Finn just doesn't KNOW how to pilot. But what happens when he's taught how to and ends up being a natural. The instructor even mentions that he might be better than Poe was when he first started out. Finn definitely doesn't want to take the title from Poe so Finn intentionally starts fucking up in the simulators, and Poe is watching and is pretty sure Finn is screwing up on purpose. Finn stubbornly insists that he's just not a good pilot, because he doesn't want to step on Poe's specialty AND because he doesn't want to ever stop needing Poe to take him places.

But then there's an attack, and Finn has to show the Resistance exactly how good he is to save everyone. He's terrified they're going to call him a big fat liar when he returns, but Poe is just THRILLED and SO PROUD of Finn. (And assures Finn that he'll always be happy to take Finn anywhere.)

The interrogator realizes that it is useless to try to threaten Finn with physical harm so he instead tells Finn that Poe will likely be put into a First Order prison where he will inevitably get beaten and raped repeatedly before they execute him. Fearful for Poe's life, Finn ends up giving up Resistance information in exchange for Poe's freedom.

The First Order kidnaps Rey and Finn's child (Rey, Finn and Poe are in a 3-way) without knowing who it really was.

Hux's kid (for the name must be passed on) picks the new kid to be his/her servant. The kids actually get along, although Rey's kid is constantly looking for ways to escape (not easy to do from grandpa Governor Hux's planet).

Due to nerve damage caused by his injuries on starkiller, Kylo loses all control of his bladder and is forced to wear a diaper to maintain his dignity.
Kylo is absolutely mortified when Hux finds out, but it turns out Hux is more than a little into it (offers to change Kylo, gets used to Kylo leaking all over him during sex, wetting the bed when he falls asleep after sex etc.)

It can be either established relationship or not, it's up to you. I would definitely prefer if there was a changing scene worked in there somewhere at least.

As soon as he's on board the Finalizer Kylo, Hux, and Phasma work out who Poe is- the best pilot in the Resistance, previously one of the top guns of the New Republic. Someone who could really whip their TIE-fighter corps into shape, basically, if he could be turned.
Instead of a short, brutal interrogation, Poe is captive for weeks as an "honoured guest," as all three of them try to literally seduce him to their cause.

+ they get competitive about it, because of course they do
++ which does not stop them from teaming up to angle for a threesome (or even foursome). Hey, he might go for it.
+++ Poe is drugged to make him more susceptible to brainwashing.
