As in, what draws you to them? What is it about them that makes you feel tingly inside?
Personally, I'm a Finn/Rey shipper. I loved their dynamic in the movie -- it's funny and charming and I think the film did a stellar job in portraying them as equals. They help each other out, and they wouldn't have made it out of Jakku without each other. They're an amazing team and their friendship growth seemed pretty organic to me. I also can't deny that Ridley and Boyega's chemistry is pretty damn good. I can't wait to see what happens with them next film.

"Be nice" is the vaguest rule, and I feel like its application in the off topic post (where we're discussing and open to debate) should be different from its application in the prompt post (where we should be much more tightly policed to keep people from feeling like they're scared to write).
I know that Galactic Basic/Standard = English for all intents and purposes, but as far as I can tell from Wookiepedia there doesn't seem to be a Star Wars-universe name for Spanish.
Am I just missing something? Or, failing that, what do you think would be a good way to Star Wars-ify other real-world languages?

How long are average human lifespans in the SW universe? I've tried researching it online, but I can't really find any details.
I feel a bit bad, but I admit I am glad for the "NO PROMPTS FEATURING CHARACTERS UNDER 18 IN SEXUAL SITUATIONS" rule because so many of my other fandoms tend to be overrun by underage stories. So part of me is ashamed to be glad is not something I have to worry about while scrolling through the meme.

Why is Puffin a smushname for Finn/Poe? Poe's name doesn't make a Puh sound, it makes a Poh sound. It doesn't make any audible sense.

I've hesitated to read Kylux fic lately since a new fic writer has appeared and always writers Hux as a bottom. A stereotypical bottom no less. I'd like to avoid that.

Does anyone else ever want to ~be the change you want to see~ re: posting prompts with pairings and kinks that you like, but then you can't quite bring yourself to post them because you feel weirdly possessive about them? Like 'but no I can't post that, what if I want to write that?'

What is up with this trend of people writing "the X fic that no one wanted/no one asked for?"
I've seen this so many times on AO3 in the tags or summaries and it's driving me insane. Is it supposed to make me more likely to read a fic or is it some cutesy fandom trend I missed the origin of?

So.. am I the only one who suspects that at least some of the recent comment misfires are deliberate? I mean, they are more likely to get a (mini) fill than the average prompt...
Like, there's nothing necessarily wrong with doing that deliberately, I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to cause wank. It's just the sudden uptick, and the randomness of the misfires in the last week seems a little too unlikely. I have no proof though, obviously.
I guess if people are doing it deliberately, all it signifies is that prompts consisting of only a sentence, or a vague reference to something, are more appealing to fillers. Maybe the lack of pressure helps encourage fillers, too.
