Poe is a high ranking and respected member of the resistance. Rey might be a jedi in training and Finn is thought highly of for his heroism, but the two still lack any significant official power. That's where Poe comes in.

Finn and Rey want to snoop in off limits rooms? "Poe said we could."

Sneaking extra food from the kitchens at night? "Commander Dameron gave us permission."

Kylo and Hux don't get along in their professional lives. They just really, really don't. They don't respect each others' abilities and they're constantly vying for Snoke's attention at the expense of the other.

They both think they're crazy when they decide to have sex for the first time and are convinced it'll be terrible. Except it turns out that even though they're at odds in running the Finalizer, they're incredibly compatible in bed. Ben - Snoke manipulation

Poe is a few years older than Ben but they essentially grow up together. One day Han is showing Poe a piloting technique and when Poe gets the hang of it on his first attempt Han jokingly says he was the son he never had or something along those lines. He isn't aware Ben is standing nearby and hears the comment.

Ben becomes very insecure about Poe and when Snoke starts whispering to him he seizes upon it. He starts telling Ben how disappointed his parents are with him and how they would happily exchange him for Poe as their son in a heartbeat if they could. After all Poe is better than him in every way - he's handsome and charismatic and an excellent pilot. What parent wouldn't want him over useless ugly Ben?

I don't mind if Han and Leia (or someone else) finds out what's going on and help Ben or if it's a sad ending with Ben still turning into Kylo Ren. I just want the main focus to be on his insecurities that his parents don't love him rather than him hating Poe and wanting to kill him or anything like that.

My headcanon is that Ben Solo was not the oldest padawan around, by the time he went training there had already been 10 years or more of Luke trying to rebuild the order.

My prompt is: Snoke planted a slightly older padawan who was there and ready to help Snoke brainwash Ben. He was four-five years older and so, when the massacre happened, Ben actually didn't kill the others, it was this older guy and he told Ben it was him and it worked because for years he had been gaslighting him, then they run away together to the First Order and indeed because he ran, they think Ben did the killing and that the other guy escaped, this makes Ben become Kylo and he trusts this guy implicitly, it can be Hux or it can be someone else of the Knights of Ren, anything is fine, thank you :)

As you can see I'm very bad at writing :( hope this makes sense

I'm a sucker for 'Poe crashes his x-wing and it's really really awful' scenario AND 'the resistance is struggling to make ends meet' thing, which is apparently canon. So I'm gonna put them together: Poe is severely injured when he's shot down and forced to crash-land. We're talking 'definitely won't make it unless we perform this complicated medical procedure/use this expensive drug/etc'. Unfortunately the Resistance is going through a rough patch where they barely have enough supplies to treat minor injuries, let alone something so serious.

They're all trying to prepare emotionally for losing one of their best and most loved comrades, but Poe's squadrons won't have any of it. They'll get him that drug/medical procedure through less than friendly and ethical means if they need to. Stealing, bribes/threats, kidnapping doctors, taking over a medical station, hostage situations are all OK as long as they're not flat out torturing or killing anyone.

+ improvised medical procedures that are considered 'primitive', like blood transfusions
++ would love it if Leia, Finn and Rey are also involved somehow, but the focus should be on the pilots: lots of tension, grief, anger and helplessness
+++ Poe is occasionally conscious but can't talk. He's still trying to reassure everyone despite clearly being in pain and terrified.

Poe is bad and his Dom punishes him, his Dom is really upset with him, and it's not the first time this happened. So they decide to try out a new punishment because their normal punishment clearly isn't working well enough because he's still disobeying.
Poe reacts really bad to the new punishment, but he's so angry at himself for messing up and upsetting his Dom again that he refuses to safe word. At first he thinks he can just hide it because he never needed to safe word before, plus he's been so bad that he deserves his punishment.
Until he starts crying and having a panic attack, and his Dom immediately stops and starts worrying over him. But Poe's convinced that he's doing wrong again starts begging for his Dom not to stop because he clearly deserves it for worrying him even more.

A/N: I wanted to write a lighthearted fill, so I fudged Academy torture-endurance training into everyone in the First Order is terrible at sex. (Hope it’s okay.) Hux rubbed his elbow; even the bed in the general’s quarters was too small for two people this tall. Kylo was looking at him. “Sorry.” The magic words but Kylo had done nothing to apologize for this time. Kylo flushed and looked away.

Hux stopped rubbing his elbow. “No need. I just wasn’t looking.” Of course Kylo Ren was amazing in bed. That was just his luck.

“Um. Should I go?” This was already so wildly improper that Kylo strutting out of his bedroom would hardly matter. And Kylo was a furnace, and sweaty. But if he let Kylo stay, he could go for another round later.

“Stay.” Kylo bit his lips and settled down. The things he had done with that mouth. He’d never had anyone do those things before; it must be some decadent dark side thing. Kylo thought Hux would balk at his inexperience. But he’d been rather patient. Hux said not a word when he came with a couple of strokes, and on Hux’s coat too. It’d been awhile since he read that manual, and there had been something about no teeth, but he'd only made a few slips. He thought he would choke when Hux came, but he moved out of the way. He wasn’t prepared for how good sleeping together was; he hadn’t slept that well in years. The creature that somehow matched Hux’s hair had actually been fairly pleasant.
