Ben/Poe - Apology Fucking

Ben goes back to the side of the light, and works on making amends, righting wrongs, apologizing, and bringing down the first order. Not everyone likes him, but people seem willing to listen to his apologies. Except, weirdly, for Poe. Poe normally is a forgiving guy, and Ben apologizes about the torture but Poe says it's not enough. See, Poe can work past that, but what he can't is how fast Leia forgave Ben for causing her YEARS worth of heartbreak. (Leia's his hero, after all.) Cue Ben trying everything he can to make things right, or at least get Poe to understand he really is going to stay good.

In a fit of desperation, Ben swears he'll do anything -- and he does mean he'll do anything to get Poe to take him seriously. When Poe figures out he's serious he takes Ben up on that promise.

Ben's REALLY gotta earn his chance to apologize.

Until Hux goes to the kitchen for a midnight snack one night and accidentally spies on Kylo eating all the leftovers, even licking plates clean, etc. and it's the saddest thing Hux has ever seen.

So Hux starts leaving food (as in complete meals) in the kitchen for Kylo to find and gets a kick out of Kylo confusedly coming across them them and eating them enthusiastically.

I would love to see a fic in which everyone knows that Emperor!Hux is untouchable due to his right-hand man/bodyguard/knight's protection. So some group gets the bright idea to try and turn Kylo against Hux, thereby making it possible to take Hux down.

So they try to convince Kylo that Hux doesn't care about him/isn't worth serving (arranging for Kylo to stumble across a seduction attempt? Trying to get Hux to say something compromising about Kylo where he can hear it? YOU DECIDE), only to discover that Hux is VERY loyal to his knight, and they have made a huge mistake. I just want Hux making everyone regret trying to separate them while Kylo remains very smug because he knew it would end like this all along.

Meanwhile, Poe’s squad and Finn are horrified that Poe would ever be put in this position when it’s obvious he couldn’t say no to anything the resistance needs of him.

Poe goes through with it, but comes back looking rough and bruised (turns out their informant, while genuine, was into really rough sex) Cue angry/protective squad and Finn taking care of him, gently joking with him, bringing him food, etc. Anon likes stormpilot or gen.

So naturally everyone assumes Finn is his girlfriend, since they're 'roommates' and she wears his jacket, and so on. Poe wonders if it was the best or worst decision since he has feelings for Finn, and living with her as just a friend is driving him kind of crazy. Finn on other hand just loves Poe, and is somewhat oblivious to the gossip. When Poe explains it to her, her response is "So, does that mean we get to kiss and have sexual intercourse now?'

+1 Poe's team makes teasing remarks, or gives Finn advice about him.
+2 Finn just strips before bed regardless of whether Poe is there or coming in or anything because Stormtroopers aren't trained to be self-conscious or gender-conscious about it.

A diplomatic mission to secure allies goes awry when the locals mistake the command hierarchy for a master/pleasure slave relationship. This only becomes clear when one returns to their sumptuous guest quarters to find that the other missed dinner because they were being washed, oiled up, dressed in a skimpy slave-bikni outfit, drugged with a maddeningly powerful aphrodisiac and left there as a "present".

Tbh I would kind of love to see this filled with Leia + slave!Poe, but it's kind of a one-size-fits many scenario so go with your gut. Prefer not an established relationship.

Somehow, some way, whether it's a new shared enemy or just circumstances where things have gotten so out of control that they'll die otherwise, Finn, Poe, Rey, Kylo, Hux, and Phasma are forced to work together to get themselves out of a dire situation. None of them are happy about it but none of them are stupid enough to start anything when they're each other's only chance of survival. They can get around to killing each other again later.

Basically, a situation where everyone is uncomfortably aware that they're still enemies but for once able to kind of appreciate one another's skills now that they're not being used against them. (Is Phasma irrationally proud that FN-2187 is still an exemplary soldier despite his empathy defect? Does Kylo begrudgingly admit that at least the upstart that keeps trying to become his mother's new son is indeed one hell of a pilot? Is Poe relieved and annoyed that he's following orders from a General that is clearly the anti-Leia but at least a cunning strategist? Is everyone for once grateful for Kylo's undying need to 'saber everything in sight?)

For some reason I just desperately need a non-redemptive team up from these guys.
