Poe is unhappy, depressed and in the process of divorcing his childhood sweetheart (Ben/Kylo? OC? Other?). Frustrated and lonely, Poe finds a talking operating system named Finn, who he bonds with and becomes close to. Poe comes to rely emotionally on Finn, and they develop feelings for one another. Then Finn begins to adapt and evolve and starts yearning for a life of his own.
