I was wondering how far no kink-shaming goes for some people? Like, I've seen a lot of complaints about people writing/prompting innocent!Finn (|not that I disagree mind you) and that people who like that are annoying or what have you.

Is it the kink itself or do certain tropes fall under that rule too?

How do people swear in the Star Wars universe? I keep starting to type characters going 'Oh God" and "Jesus" and I am sure that's not something they'd be saying. So, what do they say, what does it mean, when would they use it.

I've kind of been looking through the last prompt post for some, I want to try writing a few since it's pretty much a fun rare pair for me, but I'm probably missing a bunch of prompts from the first prompt post.

So if you guys know any good prompts that already exist on the meme that I might have missed, can you link me here? (for prompts that don't exist yet, tho, I think it'd be best to put it on the prompt post first, in case somebody wants to snatch it up)

Just a heads-up for likeminded people, there's a thread on Reddit right now about "how did you quit your job in a blaze of glory?" (https://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/41dkav/redditors_who_quit_their_jobs_in_a_blaze_of_glory/), and I feel like a LOT of these stories would make great prompts for Finn-centric or Finn/Poe modern AUs.

I just want to commend everyone who writes fiction and responds to prompts because I haven't shared my writing in years and I'm currently trying to organize my thoughts into something readable and enjoyable in response to a prompt (I haven't commented on it yet because I don't want to get any hopes up) and I swear it's like trying to herd cats. In short, I'm in awe of you writers out there! It's hard to push past your inner critic.

I know it won't be out on DVD for ages, but is there any sort of screencap resource for icons etc out there?

Genuine question, but how do some fics have so many kudos?

I notice that the older a fic is, the newer it is to a random, the more hits and kudos it has. That makes sense.

But some fics have barely any hits and barely any kudos, despite being very similar to the popular ones and posted at prime times.

So what is happening? Some fics deserve to have few kudos, but some popular ones are godawful too. I'm baffled.

Kylo Ren fans - what is the appeal? I think I find the actor charming after snl, but what is it about Ben that makes him amazing?

I don't know why, but Matt the Radar Technician reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite. Anyone else get that or am I weird?

If and when we do sequels that started from a kink meme prompt we've filled should we post them here as well? No worries if the answer is a firm no, was just curious about the posting etiquette.

Does anyone know if there are any transcriptions / copies of the script / similar available somewhere? I'd like to be able to look over particular characters' lines so I can replicate their voices better in my writing. It's been a bit since I've seen the movie and I'm not in a position where I can just get tickets to it every weekend or whatever.

I feel like it's working well and doing its intended purpose.

How do people feel about surprise side pairings in fics? Like, say the prompt is "Poe/Finn, first date" and the fic ends up having Rey/Jess as a side pairing.

I only ask because I notice a lot of fics aren't focused on only one pairing, but multiple others too. A lot of fics on AO3 have multiple pairing tags, even when the secondary pairing is only mentioned for a paragraph.

Which unusual or unpopular pairings do you like within the Star Wars fandom or TFA?

Are there any you just haven't seen yet but want to? Weird headcanon ships or something that you just personally think would be cool, canon be damned? Genuinely curious, I adore rare pairings.
