I haven't seen any prompts for it yet, have you tried prompting?

Tumblr is telling me Harrison Ford will be answering user questions sometime tomorrow on something called Answertime, and questions are being accepted now.

Kylo/Hux, I can ship them in OT3 or OT4, but just the two of them together I can't seem to get into it. It sucks because I see so many good prompts for them and fills, but no matter how hard I try I just can't bring myself to really get into it as a ship. Yet I love to see them as rivals or even self-serving allies, but romantic partners, eh.

I'm also pretty meh on Jessika/Rey. They show up a lot on Stormpilot stories do I've learned to deal with it, but it just doesn't do a lot for me.

And really big no on Reylo, but I think that's mainly as a result of the fandom.

Try posting prompts, a lot of my ships I would have never even thought about them without some of the prompts here.

As a rare-pair filler I can 100% vouch for this. I've surprised myself at what left-field ships I can make sail based off an intriguing prompt.

That was literally the most annoying post I've ever been linked to. Was it supposed to be an example of what is wrong with fandom? Or do you actually think that post proved something? Because I couldn't even finish reading the childish rant and the comic looked like it was done in paint. Really, what was the point?

There's been people upset about race representation in fandom forever. A fairly recent example that predates most of tumblrs 'sjw' was Star Trek 2009 and the constant fights over the way people treated, wrote, or didn't write Uhura. It was also to a much greater degree than tfa has been.

It really baffles me that people think that people disliking fandom's narrow fixation with a very particular type of ship is a recent tumblr thing. People have always been complaining.

'Turn everything to shit' is a particularly dramatic reaction to something so common.

Finn/Rey/Poe and Rey/Poe; I feel like I need to see Rey & Poe interact in canon before I can see if it's going to work or not, but people don't seem bothered by that at all.

True though that the hyper-reactive sect of Tumblr SJWs is only a recent phenomenon in that it has more visibility than prior extreme reactors, which never had the internet and were easier to ignore.

Ugh. Anyone who judges anyone else in any way by the colour of their skin is a racist.

But... 2009 is recent? When you said "you're new to fandom", I thought you were going to dig up some example from the Star Trek original series era, or something a little more old school. 2009 is still the era of RaceFail (if you remember it?) and of fandom bring treated primarily as some driving force for social justice over entertainment and fun.

I have seen way too many terrible fan questions in the Kylo Ren tag already. I hope those idiots just took a screencap of their bullshit and then deleted it rather than actually send the questions to him.
