In light of some very good discussions on the off topic post (actually good exchange of ideas instead of sniping at each other, I promise, you can go look without being disappointed in us) a few people think it might be a good idea to institute more prompt freezes to shift the focus to filling, reading fills, and responding to fills rather than prompting.

Hi, I posted a prompt that's over 250 words but I can't seem to keep it within 250 not without deleting the whole 'bonus points' part, is it okay that I add the bonus points in a comment below to keep the post under 250?
Sorry for inconvenience you and thank you :)

I don't want to attack anyone and it doesn't really concern me personally, as all of my prompts have been fairly short, but why is there a word limit on prompts?
Sure, it might be easier to read through a shorter one and many people feel like tl;dr so they will just skip the long ones, but the op surely knows that and if someone doesn't want to read the entire thing they can just scroll past it?
I'm asking this because I've never seen it on any kinkmeme i've frequented before and it seems to be attracting a lot of people playing police, trolls and a lot of wank, which is a pity and might lead to people not wanting to come back to the meme anymore.
Also the 'not more than 5 prompts per page' is good and all, but also very hard to proove if you don't want ip-tracking (noone does) and there have been anons who felt they were appointed to antagonize people just because their prompting style is similar to others.
What I want to say is: kudos to you for not letting this meme sink into disorganized chaos, you're clearly very active and invested in this, but too many rules will drive people off.

Can't link bc phone but you might want to put another comment up in the prompt post. People are still prompting.

Hi!
I was wondering when the next fills post would be up?

Forgive me if the answer to my question is obvious; I'm new to DW and I can't seem to find what I'm looking for in the FAQ's. Is there a way to track individual prompts so that I get notification when they are filled, or someone comments on them? I created an account and logged in, but all I can find are instructions to click on the "bell" to enable notifications. But this seems to refer to the entire prompting post, which would make for a lot of notifications! I know on LJ there used to be a way to follow individual prompts, but I can't seem to find one here. Is it because I'm not using a paid account?
Any information would be helpful. Thank you!

A few new prompts have been posted despite the prompt freeze.
Can I post one comment on the fill post with all my fills, or do I have to post them all individually?
Hi, somehow my fill got posted twice in a row and it's a rather long one so it'd be really great if one of the duplicates could be deleted: http://tfa-kink.dreamwidth.org/1841.html?thread=2651185#cmt2651185
thanks!
thanks!
Some really disgusting anti-black racism that ought to be deleted over here

Not just frozen, but deleted, if that's possible, because I literally cringed reading that comment, it's pretty specifically anti-black, anti-Finn racism and it's kinda terrifying
