Okay, the main reason the word limit exists is because would-be fillers felt such detailed prompts were limiting and left the writer no room for creativity. ~250 words is longer than a double drabble, any longer than that is almost a short fic. So I do think that's a reasonable word limit.

Regarding the "no more than 5 prompts per page rule" I have mentioned multiple times how unenforceable this rule is and it exists mainly as a reminder to those who don't have a lot of expieriece with kinkmemes. You are absolutely right that the internet detecting of trying to match anons' prompting styles is completely uncalled for and I will delete comments where people do that.
