I feel like Miles Vorkosigan definitely knows Han Solo and they probably exchanged one-up stories about seduction and close shaves. Han Solo has probably flirted with his mother, who was duly amused and not offended, but might have had to hold off her crazy ax-murdering battle butler Bothari.

Also there's a lot of romance of aviation/pilots that love their ships in star wars. Just want to imagine Helena the ship who sang being happy to stay with her new brawn.

I love fics where Finn becomes fast friends with the pilots, but he could have a social circle outside of Poe and Poe's friends, right?

Finn meets, and begins hanging out with Kaydel Ko Connix and Pamich Nerro, two of the young women from who work in the control room. They're sweet, they're his age, they want to show him EVERYTHING on base. Maybe they advise him after he develops a crush on Rey/Poe/Jess/Snap/Chewie/whoever.

Characterization is up to you, we don't have much to work with for these girls (Kaydel wears her hair in Leia-inspired fashion? Possible fangirl?)

There is an awesome Hobbit fic with this kinda premise- the Company decide that the best way to endear Bilbo to the Dwarves of the Iron Hills would be so secretly write, illustrate and distribute romantic pamphlets that tell of Bilbo and Thorin's epic love, and Dwarves being romantic saps, they eat it up. It's one of my favourite fics, and the added bonus of converting Stormtroopers with the romantic drivel is AMAAAAZING! +1000

Oh and since ship resources are such a valued commodity in courtship, what if being decadently wasteful (like those false Republic creeps) or destroying resources (like, say, a command console, Ren!) is pretty much the cruelest way to reject someone. Especially in public! How humiliating!

The name tag says Kylo Ren, but Hux thought the new pony looked rather like Senator Organa's long abducted son Ben Solo.

I imagine somewhere the Force is going "if I keep impregnating folks, at some point this will work out okay."

I have it labelled as 'WHY DOES DRAGON HUX WORK SO WELL WHAT THE FUCK' in my bookmarks.

Poe's squad captured a First Order ship. Instead of a supply ship they were initially led to believe, it was an Academy ship carrying children. Amongst them were kids that looked like known FO officers and Knights of Ren.

Snoke had a giant breeding program going on to make more future soldiers. Kylo Ren and General Hux both have at least three hundred kids each, all lab-grown.

Leia looked at her potential grandchildren, already indoctrinated at a young age, as well as the offspring of known sociopaths and killers, and was wordless.

It's my headcanon specifically for this prompt that lil!Hux pronounces his last name as "Hugs" and whoever's asking immediately goes 'aw' and hugs the poor lost lamb and stops pestering him for his last name for a while.
