There is an awesome Hobbit fic with this kinda premise- the Company decide that the best way to endear Bilbo to the Dwarves of the Iron Hills would be so secretly write, illustrate and distribute romantic pamphlets that tell of Bilbo and Thorin's epic love, and Dwarves being romantic saps, they eat it up. It's one of my favourite fics, and the added bonus of converting Stormtroopers with the romantic drivel is AMAAAAZING! +1000
