Happy Star Wars Day! I re-watched TFA and would have re-watched the OT, but I'm afraid my VHS tapes of the 'brightened but not corrupted with unnecessary CGI bullshit' version may not survive being played in my shitty VCR. I wish they'd release that version on DVD. Or on bluray as an extra for the "re-Lucas'd" version.
Dude, Google "Star Wars Despecialized Edition" for fan restored versions of the original films - the versions first seen in theatres, made possible by the careful editing of loving fans! They're also free!
