OP: Definitely not a pedophile, eww. I guess I see BB-8 as genderless? Like I said, I've never been attracted to a robot or non-human anything before so I don't think I'm a robophile either. I think of BB-8 as "BB-8" in my head. I don't associate BB-8 with pronouns (even they/them, though that's probably what I would use if I did) and I just think "BB-8" in place of pronouns. It's probably good I don't write fic or that would get repetitive really fast.
