From what I've seen, there's not much consensus on alien mating stuff, since the majority of the shipped characters are human. There's a bit of telepathy between pairs involving at least one Force user, and cultural differences between the two opposing factions, but not much else. Well, I mean, there's the fanon that Snoke has ZERO knowledge about humans, from their number of limbs to how they mate, but that's mostly just crack.
