well, I just feel bad when I make Finn or Rey or Poe suffer or put then in non-con situations because just. why? they have been through enough. but hux or kylo? the people that kill in cold blood? don't care and i can get all my really, really messed up kinks out (the "locked up in basements, torture, slut-shaming" variety). i am kinda neutral towards reylo (not my ship) so i don't know fic trends.
for other people, i am sure they feel differently. as they say where i come from, everyone appreciates the sunset for different reasons.
