I did say apparent. I think we'll get another death fake-out or near death situation for Poe, and he won't die until IX, in a blaze of tragic-heroic glory.

I want everyone else to die in a big tragic ending and Poe to go on alone, like Sam at the end of LOTR.

continual impossible escapes from death for poe could become such a great running joke.
