Multi-part fills, how?

How should they be posted? each part as individual reply to the prompt or first part as reply to prompt and the rest as replies to the first part? What's the preferred method?

I think there's no preferred method. Both options seem fine to me.

Thank you! I'm nervous with etiquette on this meme heh :)

The cleanest-looking way is to reply the the original prompt and then reply to each consecutive reply so that they all expand when you open the thread.

When I multi-parts fill I tend to reply to the original prompt, largely because I don't like who the text boxes get squished up on subsequent reply threads and I think it's easier to distinguish fill boxes if they're all on the same left alignment indentation. However, this is purely a stylistic choice and there is no right or wrong answer. Go with your heart.

Thanks for your input! I hadn't considered the squishing! I think I'm going to make first part as response to the prompt and subsequent parts as response to the first part, that way it has the advantage of the expanding feature an stays roughly the same size :) thank you lots!

Either each new part as a reply to the first part, or each new part as a reply to the previous part. NEVER each part as a separate reply to the prompt.

This. Makes parenting up to see earlier parts SOOO much simpler, and doesn't risk a second fill starting in the middle of a WIP and getting their parts mixed up.
