If you had the chance to make your own lightsaber, what would you want it to look like?

Personally, I'm fond of the idea of a cotton-candy-pink lightsaber (though if Oscar Isaac's rainbow lightsaber is possible, then I 10000% want one like that instead, lol.)

I would just want it to be made up of glowing words saying THIS IS HOT DON'T TOUCH IT in every possible language.

Because I live around a grown woman who can't remember to not touch the stove when it's on "to see if it's hot enough yet."

Invisible bladed, like the light's in the UV range. Not only does the person you're fighting not know where the blade is to parry, on off days I can get a tan.

Lmao, let's not turn the lightsaber thread into a discussion on social justice. What kind of lightsaber would you want to have, anon?

I want mine to have a switch for multiple colors/settings like those LED open signs that can be one color, alternate between colors, or do a weird rainbow swirl thing. People would be able to judge my mood based off of my setting choice. My enemies would learn to fear the green to yellow to green high speed setting. I would whip it out and go rainbow at alien dance parties. I'd switch it to a somber bright orange for formal occasions. Blue to purple to pink when I'm showing off for the ladies/aliens.

I'd probably be one of the girls impressed by your lightsaber.

I made a lightsaber at the Disneyworld Star Wars area about 6 years ago (my parents took me to Disney as a graduation from college present since they couldn't take me as a kid), and since it had sentimental value, all my SW gaming characters have had the same one-- blue saberstaff with an asymmetrical handle.

When I did a Knight of Ren character, I decided that my interpretation of Kylo's failsaber was that the Knights made their sabers out of the kyber crystal salvaged from a famous sith saber, thus the damage. My character's crystal wasn't fractured like Kylo's, but it was only a small shard, so it was the blade of a naginata-style saber-spear made from lightsaber resistant Mandalorian iron. /extranerd

I just kinda want Darth Maul's lightsaber with a color like Windu's. It's my inner kid talking but I always thought it was the coolest thing of the prequels, and my inner kid is still shouting "I HOPE REY GETS ONE LIKE THAT" when I watch Force Awakens.

My friend has an Ultrasaber that you can change the color of the blade using the computer ... for the premier he turned it pink and it was fucking glorious.

i trained with a bo staff for a loooong time and the one bo i got that was my favorite was this gorgeous amber-colored pine wood, so my lightsaber would be double-bladed (since im guessing itd be wielded pretty similar to a bo) and amber.
