I read The Swimmer for a story recently, along with some articles on 1950s gender and sexuality. Nothing very deep or whatever, just to get in the mood a little bit.
I'm currently writing a witch story while reading The Crucible, watching whatever horror movie catches my fancy on Netflix and brushing up on that lecture I had on witch hunts last semester.
