To build on that, he said the influence didn't come from the racial and religious superiority, but more the political aspect of the rise of the Nazi Party after WWI.

And the point is it's wanky as fuck to act like a person is a Nazi sympathizer when ignoring the actual politics. It just looks like another lazy way to police people's morals or link them to actual Nazis just because they like a silly villain in a space opera. It's window dressing to show how bad they are, it should not be used to act like fans are in agreement with actual Nazi views.
