I definitely agree. I usually get bored by the third act as soon as I've done the quest to reinstate the romance.

Though, even while I liked the one overarching plot in DA:O, some of the individual quests went on way too long. So grateful for the Skip the Fade mod.

I give the first game a bit more leeway because it was new. The second one was weird...they took away a lot of what made the first one good & mucked with the story.

Aside from the Fade, the only big complaint I have with the first game is the lack of voice acting for the main character.

And now I want to go replay DA:O
