Tropes I don't mind but don't understand either:
-Hux being super small: he's 6ft 1?
-Hux apparently thinking so loudly that Ren can read his mind all the time, even when he's not trying to: I personally imagine Hux to be very secretive and quiet, even in his own mind.
-Kylo doing nothing but destroying equipment and hiding in the ship like a huge space bat. Idk He isn't Mister Badass but he does command troops and help in the film. Hux and he seem to work together despite their differences and they both love the First Order.
-Hux and Kylo addressing Snoke as "Snoke" and not "Leader Snoke" or "Supreme Leader".
-Ren hating Hux for being boring/a stuck-up when Ren in the film or the novel thinks Hux is incompetent and "a slimy sycophant". I always thought Hux wasn't "good enough" rather than "too much" for him.

Things I would like to see more of:
-Hux as someone disliking physical contact
-Kylo and Hux as Snoke fanatics
-Hux with other officers and Kylo with troopers
-Hux losing control
-More stuff about Ren's voice! I think it's the most charming element of his character but maybe I'm alone in this.

Amen on the Hux being small thing. They're both incredibly tall guys, it is interesting that Hux gets represented as being puny when he's only a couple inches shorter than Ren.

I really want a scene with him alone and one member of the trio. Poe/Finn/Rey are not small either but they're definitely smaller and it would make him more menacing. I think Small!Hux comes from Phasma and Kylo being taller + Gleeson being thin, though I wonder if he didn't go to the gym like everyone else to prepare for the role.

I read a fic where he brings up his height himself after Kylo tells him he's so small, and Kylo goes "Yes, but so skinny" or something - and looking at Gleeson out of costume, that is definitely true. So it's more a body type kind of small compared to a pure height kind of small (though I'll admit that a lot of people don't write it that way.)
