Oh come on. Pointing out that there are female fans who are gender essentialist is hardly offensive.
To be honest, pointing out that there are some trans people who are gender essentialist isn't transphobic either, but these days everyone is on such a hair trigger, you could simply say "trans people are people" and someone will set the mods on you and call you disgustingly transphobic before even taking the time to read your comment properly.
