I never see that kind of stuff on tumblr, but that's because I only follow people who aren't bullshit narcissists. My dashboard is lovely and wank-free probably 90-95%of the time.
But eliminating all of it from anything I have to see guarantees zero instances of narcissism and wank. I don't personally feel like I'm missing out on anything by not seeing the life posts that aren't narcissistic or wanky. That is how I prefer to tumblr.
