I really think there isn't as much race wank as this post is giving you the impression of. If it's not actually racist, then just post it and don't be a sensitive flower if any idiot comes to give you grief about racism that isn't there. Delete their comments and ignore them, in the unlikely event they appear.

Telling someone not to be a sensitive flower over perceived racism in their fic is pretty passive aggressive. Someone may write a fic and think it's not racist, but there could be some tiny thing in there, some piece of casual racism that most white people don't even think of, that is racism and offends someone. What are they supposed to do, just ignore any comments calling them out on it and act like a ~sensitive flower?

There's not as much race wank in terms of what people were talking about earlier today. People aren't going around saying you can't write angst or porn because it's racist. But there is a lot of casual racism in fandom headcanons and fic of Finn/Poe and a lot of it is really tiny things that most people who aren't affected wouldn't consider racist. Your method would perpetuate the problem and perpetuates the idea that all POC are just yelling about everything being racist and that those claims should be ignored.

The person I'm talking to is worried about having perceived racism because it's angst instead of fluff, not because of details.
