I'm not great at ideas, so I'm here looking for inspiration and just filling rather than prompting.
I'll go for vaguer prompts or more specific prompts entirely arbitrarily. It's about which prompts hit my buttons and whether or not I can see the direction and shape of a story. Also, if the story doesn't seem exactly what OP was after, eh. In my experience most people are happy that their prompt got a fill and extra detail is more about them sharing *all* their ideas in case some struggling writer!anon like me gets a lightbulb moment from it and takes an interest. If my story ends up deviating more significantly, I'll ask first, but most OPs seem really accommodating about stuff that tonally matches their prompt, even if the details are little altered.
I've never had an OP comment negatively on a fill. Sure sometimes no comment if I write a fill from an early round, but never any negativity. Most people tend to be pretty cool in my limited experience.
