But there's really no need for passive aggressive snark, especially since the mod has said more than once that they'll deal with policing those prompts and anons should stop doing it on the prompt post. Yet they continue to do it.

Forcing strict guidelines on a hundred people because handful complained and continue to complain and take the time to track down all these post and point them out is going far beyond normal disagreement. If they were so okay with disagreeing, they'd let people post prompts in whatever manner they wanted and just scroll by the ones that annoyed them.

In the most recently frozen thread, an anon wanted to know where people were supposed to report issues, if not by discussing them on the thread in question . A couple of people including the mod, explained about the mod post. So there's still some disconnect between what needs to be done and people's understanding of how to do it. People will figure it out in a bit more time, especially if the mod keeps stepping in the way they should and reminding people what to do.

THIS. We're assuming people are trolls (ngl, I assumed that person was a troll until they said "but how else would I do it" and then I was like OH, YOU JUST DIDN"T KNOW) and it turns out half of them are just newbs.
