The page long prompts and ++++ bonuses are incredibly annoying, but I think it was immature for anons to wank about it and go running to the mod to have the meme changed to their specifications. There are always annoying trends or anons on kink memes and scrolling past a long prompt is no different than scrolling past a long fill you don't intend to read.

No it isn't, you almost always have to click on a link to expand a prompt so you can read it, whereas long fills are right there in your face.

I only read the meme in flat view, so long prompts and long fills are both there in your face. Regardless, scrolling really isn't that difficult. It takes like two seconds.

I do view the meme on a phone and I'm still not seeing the difficulty in scrolling. Like I said, it is annoying annoying, but I find scrolling past long prompts on a phone no more annoying than scrolling past a long fill I have no interest in reading.

What are you talking about? There is no cutting ins Dreamwidth comments, the prompts are all open posted, and several fills are links to AO3.

It's mature to wank about it somewhere else unrelated, it's immature to then link that conversation here when the whole point was to spare people here from seeing it.

But people weren't just wanking somewhere unrelated, they were doing it on prompts and fills and on the mod post.

Well then link to the thread that was specifically about that if you must, but not to all the other threads that were people privately ranting.

This. It doesn't matter what people do off of this meme; if you have an issue with them, it should be with what they are doing here.

But they used those off-meme threads to specifically talk about how they were going to troll threads, cause wank, and write mock fills. And then they did that. That's bringing it back to the meme, so it's fair game.

You have to admit that those mock fills were really good, though.

The people who did all those things are in this fandom and carried them out here on the meme. Why does it matter if they talked about it elsewhere?

Yep. In any case, most of the threads the OP was kind enough to link weren't about stirring wank on the kink meme, but were simple rant threads for people to let off steam.

Either way, it shouldn't matter what people get up to on their own sites or memes.
