Oh, that makes sense. Of course it's Sherlock fans. They're the embarrassment of fandom, so it figures they'd have to find a way to make themselves feel popular and important again.

Not exactly. Not everyone there is in the Sherlock fandom; quite a few are in this one. But it didn't originate in hating Sherlock.

When did the Sherlock backlash start? I remember when that's all anyone talked about and that was the fandom to be in.

Your confusing the non-Tumblr Sherlock fans with the Tumblr Sherlock Fans. We're actually pretty okay, and we mostly complain about how the show's no good anymore. It#s Tumblr fans that are the embarrassment of the fandom.
