Totally get the fear of the white savior trope, but Poe isn't actually white. Or, well, Oscar Isaac isn't.

Yeah, hence the parenthesis...And because of the context inside Star Wars is different from the US with different demographics.

But he still looks white. In the same way my hubby is Lebanese and still gets white privilege and passes as white when unnamed (cause his name is obviously arabic).
