Yes, but they're easy to ignore, whereas the people spreading the negativity around brig down the whole meme.

I don't find them easy to ignore. Especially on mobile when I find myself scrolling and scrolling to get past a prompt I have no interest in.

I find the same logic applies and you can scroll past the annoyed people just as easily.

Even more easily, actually, because it doesn't take fifteen minutes to scroll past the wall of text.
