I don't know if it's considered an AU, but social media based fics make me uncomfortable. It's not so much fics where the characters are on social media, but third party OCs who are liveblogging an event that takes place to the characters. I think it's a little bit because those fics seem too much like a self-insert and a little bit because they almost seem to be breaking the fourth wall.

I don't know if other fandoms have them, but they've become popular in mcu. I'm glad I haven't seen any for Star Wars yet.

Aside from that, I do like historical AUs and I would love to see the political plot of TFA redone in different decades or centuries.
