OP: That's part of the risk with AUs - they can be so dissimilar from the source as to be original content... Really, if the idea would leave me alone, I'd have abandoned it fully by now - it's borderline disrespectful, potentially against the rules, and I can't even settle on where the fic would GO with all this setup... But the idea persists.

Also I think the FO is "pro human" or something, but I cant remember if that information is canon, or fandom osmosis at work...

You could write it for yourself to get it out of your system and then think about whether or not you want to post it?

Ugh, I know how you feel: I've read so many fics and there is very little proper official canon info on the First Order that it's getting harder and harder to distinguish between canon and fanon.

To clarify: I don't actually claim to know whether or not the First Order is pro-human/anti-alien. I think chances for them being xenophobic to some degree is quite high (mostly because the people in charge of the canon are unoriginal and lazy and can't think of anything else than the massively overdone Nazi-parallels). But as of yet, we can't know anything about them for sure, simply because we lack information.

OP: Lack of canon information has been the bane of my existance as a fan of things for far too long...
