Lol apparently I'm the odd one out, I'm in a polyamorous relationship, have been involved in the BDSM scene for more than a decade, and have been with a wide variety of genders in a number of different permutations and situations. I'm kind of settled down now and mostly just want to cuddle IRL, but I still like the crazy stuff in fiction.

You're not entirely alone. I'm currently in a poly relationship and a dom leaning switch, myself. This is the second relationship I've been in that was heavily kinked, though. However, I'm also ace and not super into sex and more into kink and power dynamics for their own sake. That said, I like to read and write a whole bunch of porn, so kink meme culture is pretty fun for me. I think I sometimes forget how much kink is not generally mainstream.
