Yes. Is not the idea of turning a good guy into a bad guy. Is the way it was done and to whom. Captain America was created by two Jewish men as a symbol against Nazism, even before the US joined the war officially. The creator retrieved death threats for it and everything (people forget that there were pro-Nazi groups in the US). So to take a symbol that was created by Jewish men who got hate and death threats for creating this symbol and then for some cheap twist make him an agent for a known Nazi organization is an insult to CA and his creators. They could have easily picked any other character that doesn't have this history (in fact they have in the past just look at the Ultimate Universe). Or I don't know, pick from the dozens of other villainous groups that have nothing to do with Nazism.
THIS. EXACTLY THIS. People I talk to about it don't give a shit and don't get it and tell me to calm down because it's just a comic or a publicity stunt or whatever but they do. Not. Get it. Even if it all turns out to be a fake somehow in the end, this was still done and that will never be right.
well, not to defend the people ,who upset you, because they didnt get it. but is it supposed to be common knowledge , this origin of the creators of Cap? surely , probably among geeks or comic nerds , but maybe not general knowledge ?
I am not American, so until my US friend made a post about that, i didnt know either. and also I am not a comic nerd , and only know, the marvel movie verse canon.
(even though, i would not tell you to calm down. everyone has the right to be upset about things they care about. If the other party is indifferent, then they should simply go away).
