Alan Dean Foster is a ridiculous, ridiculous man who has been allowed to novelize innocent movies for far too long.

Agreed, he should really stick with his own, original works. Also it seems he novelized "Aliens" (AND Alien, which is actually Aliens 3, somehow?) and I just... I can't picture that.

He also ghost-novelized the original trilogy back in the day, I've heard.
