I haven't seen any SJW-style negative reaction to it, probs because they're both evil.
I tend to headcanon both Hux and Luke as gay and Phasma as lesbian, but I also like Hux/Phasma as a "we're each others' exception because Reasons" ship. Which is a relationship I've been in, soooooooooo... *shrug*
